"He's really hungry" Max said, giggling at the sight.

"Yeah, I can tell." Melhana replied. "Jonouchi, I know you can't help but be a bottomless pit, but can you at least attempt to not look like a fool when you're inhaling food?"

Jonouchi gave her a funny look, made even funnier by a nacho hanging out of his mouth. Melhana snickered.

Everyone laughed.
"That is so funny" Max said, making sure that the two duelists didn't get distracted/

"Oh, it stops being so funny when you've seen him eat." Melhana replied.

"Shut up. Aren't you used to guys by now?" Jonouchi asked.

"I am. I also was blessed with brothers who don't eat like pigs." Melhana said dryly.

Max turned to Yusei and he was also laughing.
For having to control one's body, it seems that the entity loves Jonouchi's stupidity she thought.

Yugi drew. I'm going to have to get another monster out to take on her Black Requiem Magician, because of his effect. He thought. Heh, or, I could just keep on attacking until she runs out of cards in her Graveyard to take out of play. Once that happens, then I'll be able to take it out. he studied his hand. Then again, she doesn't get out of the damage from an attack, but there's still her face-down cards that I need to worry about.

"I play two face-down cards and attack your Black Requiem Magician with my Dark Magician!" Yugi announced. Selena activated one of her face-down cards--Magic Cyllander--, but Yugi was ready.

"Activate face-down; Trap Jammer!" Yugi said. Selena flipped another counter trap up; Counter Counter. Yugi activated his second trap; Mystical Ref Panel. He used its effect to redirect it to her own trap. Finally, Selena protected her magician from being destroyed by activating his effect. "You still take the damage." Yugi pointed out. "I end."

Yana was still watching the duel in the dressing room, now fully dressed.
Come on dad.....you can still do this she thought.

"So, who's first on the list?" Dark Ashleigh asked.

CRACK!!!!

"Mokuba Kaiba." Kaimiri replied. "I'm going to retrieve that Shard myself once they're all back in their own dimention. The one they'll be heading to I am unable to enter, and there will mostly be a protective enchantment on those who are staying in theirs while most are gone. But," He added, seeing the dissapointed look on Dark Ashleigh's face, "It would be a great help if you would retrieve these Shards." He handed Dark Ashleigh an electronic data plate, which had names and images of several strangers, but one of them was a familiar face; Sho Marufuji.

Yusei stopped chuckling suddenly. Damn, he though. I've got to fix that problem. That crystal around my other self keeps on cracking...I must remedy that.

"The brother of Kasier. That will be easy enough. He be out of the protection spell when it's cast" Dark Ashleigh said, "But I'm concerned about the enity, I can sense his grip on Fudo is easing."

"I have sensed that as well, and I don't like it." Kaimiri replied. "But the entity has one advantage over Fudo."

"Oh? What is it then?" Dark Ashleigh asked.

"The entity is a sorcerer, and a highly skilled one at that. All he needs is an aura to manipulate to use his power." Kaimiri replied. "Fudo on the other hand has very little, if any, control of his power. The boy is far from a mage."

"Oh, ok. I heard that Fudo was able to defeat Paradox with Yuki and Motou by his side, so I don't think that would be a problem at all" Dark Ashleigh said as she scrolled down to see another familiar name.
"Don't tell me that the girl's son is also a shard. I thought it wasn't a gentinic thing" she exclaimed

"It's not," Kaimiri replied. "The fact that her son is a Shard is by chance, though it seems as if something more than luck has something to do with it."

"Ha, fancy a shard, choosing him to be a vessal and he doesn't believe in magic. What such luck in our court" Dark Ashleigh said with glee.

"I'll say," Kaimiri replied. "Now, I'm going to be spending some time in their dimention for a while. There is a certain individual who would be valuable, and I would like to win him over."

Selena drew. I might be able to prevent my Black Requiem Magician's destruction, but I can't keep myself from losing Life Points when he's attacked. She thought. I must take out Yugi's monster! Then I'll be able to win! But his face-down worries me....

She played Graceful Charity, drawing three cards and discarding two. Now she had two more cards in her Graveyard, should she have to negate her magician's destruction again. She then played Mind Haxorz, which allowed her to look at Yugi's face-down; Magical Hats. She smiled. This should get rid of that problem. She thought, playing Remove Trap to take out Magical Hats. She played Monster Reborn to bring one of her monsters back; Magical Exemplar. She directed her Black Requiem Magician to attack Yugi's Dark Magician. (Yugi LP: 2900) Once his mage was destroyed, she had Magical Exemplar attack him directly. (Yugi LP: 1200) She set a face-down card and ended her turn.

"So, what do you want me to do in the mean time? I have to go back there to do Daughter of Ventange and that's about it" Dark Ashleigh said.

"Keep your cover up, and make sure the deaths of these Shards are not traced back to you." Kaimiri replied. He snapped his fingers and his clothing changed from his black robes to a black leather jacket, black leather pants, combat boots, and a sleeveless shirt showing some kind of rock group. "Until we meet again, my sweet." With that, he dissapeared in a lick of dark flames.

Not bad, Selena, not bad at all. Yugi thought as he drew his card. This duel's going to end soon, that much I know. Question is, how?

Dark Magician Girl; helpful, but he couldn't get her on the field. He studied his hand. Correction, I can get her on the field. Yugi thought. "First I'll play Mystical Space Typhoon to take out your face-down card." Yugi said. "Next I play Brain Control and use it to take control of your Magical Exemplar!" (Yugi LP: 400) Once the Spellcaster was on his field, "And now that I've got your Exemplar, I'll sacrifice her to play Magical Dimension and summon Dark Magician Girl!" He smiled. "Thanks to Magical Dimension's Effect, your Black Requiem Magician is destroyed, leaving you open to attack. Dark Magician Girl, attack Kamikaze Sakura directly!"

The attack went through, ending the duel. (Sakura LP: 0). The crowd cheered again, this time at Yugi's win. That's over, he thought. "Good duel, Sakura." He said. Selena nodded in reply.

"Hey!" Dark Ashleigh yelled, then scowled.
I hate it when he does that She thought.

Attention everyone! The last concert will begin in 10 minutes, following the closing ceremony featuring three out of 4 performers and a special recital from our runner up! Boomed the voice.

Yana did the last check of everything as the back up dancers arrvied.
Ok, here we go! she thought as they all walk to backstage.

"Bad news," one of the stage hands said as Yugi and Sakura left the stage. "Kasanagi isn't going to be in condition to perform after being shot like that--"

"What do you mean, I'm not going to be in the condition to perform?" Kasanagi asked irritably. Her brother was right behind her, and as was Sora.

"Kasanagi, listen to me!" Jun said firmly. "You heard what the doctors said; you're not supposed to be out of hospital!"

"Funny, since when were you the voice of reason, Jun?" Kasanagi asked wryly. Sora pinched the bridge of her nose.

"You two, cut it out!" She said. "Even I thought it would never happen, but I'm actually agreeing with Jun on this one; you need to listen to the doctor. You're not supposed to be here right now!"

"Its only be one song, then the prize giving before Sakura preforms. That's it. She doesn't have to move around" Max said, joining them, "It was decided at the last minute too and two will be sitting down which is Kasanagi and Aka. Yana will be the only one standing. It will go ahead and that's an order!"

Yana peeked behind the curtian, seeing the place being fulled up.
I can't believe I'm doing this she thought.

Kasanagi smiled at the two. She didn't need words to get her message accross; Hah! I win this argument.

"This is my sister we're talking about! Not one of your agents!" Jun protested.

"Jun, I helped organised this to be Kasanagi's song ages ago and it's still going ahead" Max growled.
5 minutes before the final concert begins! I repeat, 5 minutes before the final concert. Please be seated in 5 minutes!
"Oooh, my head's killing me" Aka said, kinda stumbling in the process.

"Psst, Yusei, you have to go back. You can't be here for the ending or else Kaimiri will kill you and make your punishment double" Dark Ashleigh hissed before heading back stage.

It's nearly time Yana thought as she warmed up her vocals.

"Fine," Jun mumbled sullenly.

"I'm still staying here." Sora replied.

"What's wrong?" Kasanagi asked Aka as she headed to where Yana was warming up.

"Right," Yusei sighed, getting up and leaving the stands. "I thought you would've let me know without coming here."

"I don't know, but something horrid has happened, and even I have no idea what has happened" Aka replied.

"I had Yana to agree to do one song. Then I'm going to get Sho. He hasn't arrived yet so he won't be under some protective spell" Dark Ashleigh replied.
