"Leave it Yugi. We have to go now! We have to break the news to them, and prepare Mokuba's send off" Aka said sadly, "Ashleigh is our enemy now. But in the email, she said only true love can break the spell."

Yugi nodded sadly. He rushed to Kaiba's side. "Damn, all that blood...." He said quietly as he checked Kaiba's pulse. He turned him over gently and examined the wound as much as he could. "Aka, I've got a problem here! Kaiba's injured!"

"Well, call the Abulance!!! I stay here with him. You go to the cornation of Saharia pronto!! It will start any minute" Aka said.

"Not until I'm sure Kaiba will make it." Yugi replied. Gingerly, he pulled the shirt away to see the wound. He winced. "I'm no healer, but I'll do my best to heal it as much as I can, that way he'll have a better chance." He placed his hands on the wound, and started on the string of incantations needed for the injury to at least partially heal. His dark green aura flared as the magic flowed, tinging the air with a pine scent. At the same time, Kaiba's gold aura faintly glowed as well, just barely adding sandalwood to the air. When Yugi finished the last incantation he pulled his hands away and let his aura go down to normal again. "Right, that should hold him till the ambulance comes. I'll meet you at Saharia's coronation, then."

With that he took out the gem and activated the portal, then stepping through, leaving Aka with the still unconious Kaiba. I want to take down Kaimiri even more now that Kaiba's hurt and Mokuba's killed, he thought as he stepped out the other side.

Aka sat next to Kaiba.. Everyone now -except for her- was told to leave the park due of what happened.
What was the count again? she thought.
"30 to 2, no matter who. 30 compressions and two breaths" a voice said. Aka looked up and saw a blond haired, green eyed girl.
"It's obvious girl. Everyone knows that" she continued.

"You made it Yugi" Max said, "I had the mages to cast a very strong spell on thoses who didn't come....."
"Kaimiri got another shard" Saharia said, making everyone jump, "I can see it in your eyes. And sadly, we won't be able to save Mokuba. By the time we get back, he's far gone."

Ashleigh bowed to Kaimiri in the throne room. Melhana was safely in one of the cells, and the shard was locked in a sercurity vault.
"What happend to me master?" she asked.

Yugi looked down, still feeling the sting of not being able to save Mokuba. "I just...damn it, I wish....." he blinked back tears as he tried getting the words out. He was caught off-guard when someone with a familiar aura stepped up and gave him a hug.

"Fighting your husband must have triggered something." Kaimiri said. "No matter. I merely need to find a new way to take out Yugi Mutou."

"What about a sword Duel?" Ashleigh asked.

"I know how you feel. Alot of people, some my closests friends died by the enemy. How many more people have to suffer because of Kaimiri?" Atem asked.

"I don't know, but I hope they're stopped soon." Max said.

Yugi hid his face in Atem's shirt. Damn it...I couldn't stop him.... He thought in despair.

'Quit beating yourself up, we all got enough of that when Atem was on his pity-party bit.' Selena linked to him. He ignored it.

"It may work. We don't know how skilled he is with the sword though." Kaimiri replied. "I agree on the fact that he'd be far too powerful to take on in a game of Duel Monsters."

"Come on Yugi, you have to snap out of it. This is not your fault! And we will get Ashleigh back, I promise" Atem said "I will risk my life to get her back. She was there for me when I needed help and this time, I want to give back the favour."

"He's good, but not upto expert level" Ashleigh said.

"And who are you?" Aka asked.
"Laria Yuki! Nice to meet ya!" the girl replied. Something about her aura seemed familiar though....

Yugi nodded and pulled away, wiping the remaining tears from his eyes. "Th-thanks," he muttered.

'Still a crybaby underneath.' Selena linked.

'Shut up.' Yugi replied sourly to the girl. She returned by sticking her tongue out.

Kaimiri nodded. "He should be easy enough to take then, even if I must do it myself."

As the girl introduced herself, the ambulance showed up. "My god," The young paramedic said, seeing all the blood. "What happened 'ere?"

"Well, one got injured pretty badly and the other one got murdered. The muderer disappeared a few moments ago" Aka replied.
If I told them the truth, they won't believe me Aka thought.

"It's not his fault Sakura" Atem said, noticing Selena was still in her Sakura Alias outfit.
"I can't believe Kaimiri will kill people to get what he wants" Saharia said.

---

"I see master" Ashleigh said, noticing on the monitor that Melhana was waking up.
"Our guest has awaken" she added.

"I do." Selena typed. I've known several people who are willing to go to any lenghts to get what they want. She added silently.

The paramedic nodded as he and another lifted Kaiba onto a stretcher and into the ambulance. Another lifted Mokuba's body onto another stretcher, and covered him with a white blanket. "Do I want to know what happened here?" The older man asked.

---

Melhana slowly came back to conciousness, and the first thing she noticed was the fact that her arms and legs were both chained. The second she noticed was the fact that her power was bound somehow. "Why have you brought me here, Kaimiri?" The woman asked coldly.

"You really don't want to know the full details but the muderer took this one's heart as a trophy" Aka explained.
"You're Aka right?" Laria asked.
"Yes, why?" Aka replied.
"May I talk to you alone?"
"Um, sure but I don't have much time."

"If anyone else met the same fate as Mokuba, we have to move the final stand way eariler" Max said, "I don't want anyone else's life to be lost."

---

"Kaimiri's coming soon. He has some busness to deal with goody-two shoes to make the spell stronger" Dark Ashleigh replied as she walked down the corrodor to Melhana's cell, "for the meantime, you be dealing with me. And I suggest not to use your magic since the material used contridict you magic and making it useless."

The older paramedic sighed and rubbed his eyes. "This is going to mean a ton of paperwork." he said, getting into the ambulance and motioning to leave the scene.

"You and me both," Yugi replied. Despite all outward appearances, he felt guilty about what happened to Mokuba and Kaiba.

"Yeah, I sort of gathered that." Melhana replied coldly. "What do you guys want with me?"

"I feel so sorry for Kaiba" Aka said.
"Don't worry, when the time comes, Kaiba will reunite with Mokuba. Don't worry, it's not murder or anything. Natural Causes" Laria said.
"Who are you?" Aka said.
"You will find out shortly....about in a few minutes time" Laria said, which got Aka confused.
"Well, we better go" Aka said, and using the portal, they entered to a very saddening sight. Yugi was in tears, and by the looks on the other's faces, a mix of sadness and anger filled the air.
"What's going on?" she asked.
"We heard the news" Yana explained.
"Don't worry, Mokuba has safely passed over. He's an angel spirit and he knew it was his time to go. We will be joining us in the final stand to say his final goodbyes" Laria said and walked over to Yugi. She wiped his tears away. Then everyone froze seeing Laria kissing Yugi. Quickly, she pushed the red part of her bracelette to show a very familiar girl, then breaking off.
"It can't be....."Aka said, trailing off.

"What do you think? And yes, we know that you are not a vessal of the shards" Dark Ashleigh said.

"Well, now that we've got that sorted out." Melhana said. "I know what your precious 'master' did to Mokuba. You guys are sick, you know that, right?"

"Of course we do know that, but we got the most powerful fairy we know with us and nothing can stop us now" Dark Ashleigh said.

"And that will be your undoing." Melhana replied cooly. "I've fought against enough evils to know that when they get confident like you are right now, it's all the mor certain they'll fall."

"Ashleigh...?" Yugi asked in disbelief when he and the girl--okay, woman--broke away.

"Yep, it's me, but I only got a day, 2 days max" Ashleigh replied, "and in my time, Mokuba and myelf are front line Guardian Angels, meaning that he knew that we was called up and never will return."

"You think?" Dark Ashleigh asked with a smirk on her face.

Melhana smirked. "I don't just think. I know." She replied. "Just watch. Everything you guys are doing is going to backfire. Bigtime."

"In other words, he's not going to be resurrected like Max was." Selena typed.

"You see why I'm smirking very soon. I hope you enjoy your stay" and with that, Dark Ashleigh left, leaving Melhana all alone...well almost.
"Melhana, is that you?" yelled a voice.

"Well, without a heart, he can't be resurrected. And sadly, I can't change that" Ashleigh said sadly, "And I'm also here to take somebody back. Have you head a girl called Yuai?"

Most everyone shook their heads, except for Selena. "Yeah. She's right now under the control of your psycho dark half." She typed.

"Sho?" Melhana asked. "Looks like they got you too."

"Yeah. And I don't know how I got here" Sho replied.

---

"Yeah, and I have a message to pass on to her from a girl called Kotori. That's why I have little time here. You know the rule right? If a double or more of the excat same person is in one place at the same time, time will be stuffed up. The only way I can surpassed it is if I be Laria Yuki" Ashleigh explained.

"They must've drugged you to get you here, then." Melhana replied. She stared at her bonds. "Well, I don't know about you, but I can't exactly move my hands right now. I hope you're good at lockpicking."

"Right," Yugi replied, a little off-guard from Ashleigh's explanation. "What's the message?"

"Half of the No. Cards are collected, but there is a long way to go to gain the rest. And Astral is still making those obsavations with is driving Yuma up the wall. I'm sure when all 99 cards are collected, Astral's mission will become clear as day" Ashleigh said, making the whole group totally confused.

"I would've tried if I want to, but my leg is chained up and it's a number code that is used" Sho replied.
