"I love it either way," Yugi said. He kissed her lightly. "Thank you."

"You're welcome" Ashleigh replied, "so you can remember me by no matter what happens."

"This makes my present for you look like nothing," Yugi replied.

"It's not. It's what the thought that counts" Ashleigh said, "And it's more special if we both have keys to each other's heart. But your key is really special and use it when you really need it."

Yugi blinked. "Why do you say that?" He asked.

"I don't know. I mean, that's what it said when I brought it. It didn't say why" Ashleigh replied, "but I didn't buy it for that, I brought it because I love you."

"I know," Yugi replied. He hooked the locket around his neck. "I'll never take it off."

"You sounding like Atem now" Ashleigh giggled.

Yugi smiled. "I guess so," he replied.

"Just make sure Max doesn't send any letters, begging me to come back. Because I ain't" Ashleigh said.

"I don't blame you," Yugi replied. "I might leave after this fiasco..." He frowned. "I'm not sure if Selena will though. Or Kaiba. Or anyone else, for that matter."

"I would love to be a proper family again after it's over. I want to keep it that way" Ashleigh agreed.

"Same here," Yugi replied.

Kaiba rested his chin in his hand. If there was one word that described his mood right now, it was "bored". Bandages were wrapped around his chest and right shoulder, covering the stump of his missing arm. I finally got back at Kaimiri...so why am I still so angry? he thought.

Ashleigh finished washing the dishes. She came over and sat on the couch.
"I wonder why Kaimiri turned me into an angel of darkness?" she asked.

"You ok?" Ruby asked, poking her head in around the door.

"That's what I'd like to know too," Yugi replied. "You were crazy powerful when you were changed, though. That might be a reason."

Kaiba grunted. "I'm missing an arm and bored out of my mind." he replied.

"I was?" Ashleigh asked, surprised that she was that powerful.

"After Max does the outer coating, you will have an arm, I can promise you that" Ruby replied.

Yugi nodded. "Yeah. I almost couldn't snap you out of it." He replied.

"I know. Atem told me." Kaiba replied. For whatever reason, the memory of the day Selena hit him in the face with a dodgeball in gym, back in high school popped into his head. Where the hell did that come from?! "I still don't like the idea of waiting a few days first."

"Then how did you snap me out of it?" Ashleigh asked.

"I know. We are only born with 2 arms. And you will get your arm back when you pass on, goodness when that will be" Ruby said, coming in.

"I locked us both in a chamber made of vines, and I made it so that I was the only one who could let us out." Yugi replied. "After that...I pinned you and entered your soul room."

Kaiba flinched inperseptively. "Can we...not talk about that?" He said softly.

"That wasn't pleasent" Ashleigh grumbled "And honestly, I didn't push Selena out....I just got mad of probing without permission. Then what happened?"

"Well, that is what I do know. I'm not one of those Arch Angels who nosey all the time. I'm still a trainee" Ruby said.

"You mind...you were being encased in a black crystal. I couldn't break it from there, so I delved even deeper into your heart." Yugi repleid. "Where...you were being frozen in place."

"Mmh," Kaiba only mumbled a reply. He was still lost in his own thoughts. What if I'd known Shakahou when Kaimiri went after Mokuba? Would I have been able to save him? Or would he have been killed anyway? He asked himself question after question, over and over. Most of them were 'What if's. And with each one he was trying to figure out if there was anything he could've done to change the outcome.

"F-f-frozen?" Ashleigh asked, "didn't Kaimiri want the plan I'm concidering not doing now to work?"

"Stop dewlling on the past Kaiba" Ruby said as she sat on the end of the bed, "It's not going to help."

"Tell me somthing I don't already know," Kaiba replied, still mulling over the questions. It was then that none other than Kamikaze Sakura--or as Kaiba now knew, Selena Kuro--entered the room.

"So, bored much?" She said.

"Whatever gave you that clue." Kaiba deadpanned.

"I snapped you out of both prisons, though." Yugi replied. "And honestly, I have no idea what Kaimiri's going to do, now that we all know you won't work for him."

"He really can't do anything until he gets his new arm" Ruby said.

"And I'm beginning to doubt that the angel's plan will work now since he's much more stronger. He nearly killed you, about to kill Kaiba and is capable to over through his dad. And I presume that you are a shard" Ashleigh said. Yugi shuffled nervously.

"Thanks for the reminder." Kaiba deadpanned.

"Well, I'd offer to help alleviate that boredom with a duel, but that's a little hard with only one arm." Selena replied. "I brought something else though." She held up the chess board. "Unless you'd rather not associate with one of the 'geek squad'."

Yugi shifted nervously. "Well...you're right." He replied. "And I don't like it any more than you do."
