"Well, I could help him duel" Ruby suggested.

"This is not good. If Kaimiri finds out, he will hunt you down too" Ashleigh said.

"Then I accept your challenge, Sakura." Kaiba said. "It'll be a good way to relieve the boredom at least..."

Selena smirked and wheeled the table over between them. "That's why I was challenging you in the first place." She said. That, and to hopefully help you get your mind off of what Kaimiri did to Mokuba. She thought as she shuffled her deck.

"I know," Yugi replied. "And I don't like it anymore than you do."

Ruby sat next to Kaiba.
"To make it fair, I will be using my right arm while my left is behind my back" she said.

"I wish that Kaimiri was dead. After all, he keeps hunting us down" Ashleigh said.

"You and me both," Yugi replied. "With any luck, we won't have to deal with him again before long."

Selena nodded as she and Kaiba set up their decks. "Coin toss to see who goes first?" She asked.

Kaiba shrugged. Selena proceeded with the toss. "I call heads," she said. It landed as tails. "Well, first move's yours then."

"Fine then," Kaiba said, drawing his hand. This is going to be awkward, he thought.

"I hope that we can let it pass when the fourth week has gone" Ashleigh said.

Yugi nodded. "Yeah, I know." He said. "Hopefully then we can have a normal life again."

"I summon Lord of Dragon in attack mode, and then activate the Flute of Summoning Dragon." Kaiba said as Ruby placed the cards. "Thanks to its effect, I special summon Different Dimention Dragon and Kaiser Glider from my hand. I end with a face-down." Match that, Kuro.

"That's what I want" Ashleigh said.

Meanwhile Dark Ashleigh was tending to Kaimiri's wounds.
"These won't take as long as 3 weeks to heal. Then we will be able to get that shard. And my plan is working perfectly too" she said, "I was able to drive goody-two shoes out of the federation and back to her home which no-one is protecting her. The problem is though, how to surpass the angelic barrier."

Yugi put his arm around her shouler and gave her a hug. "C'mon, let's get those forms filled out."

"We...won't have to..." Kaimiri said. "The girl....will be drawn out. When she senses her friends in danger...she'll come to us, and then she will be ours."

Selena drew. He's daring me. She thought. She smirked. I'll take your dare, Kaiba. "I summon Blast Magician in Attack Mode, and then activate the Yami field spell."

"That gives my Lord of Dragon a power boost as well." Kaiba pointed out.

"I know," Selena replied. "But it not only gives my Blast Magician a power boost, but also a spell counter. I set two face-downs and end."

Ashleigh nodded.
"Sure" she said.

"And how are we going to do that?" Dark Ashleigh asked.

"A few days before the final stand...I want you to infiltrate the Federation's headquarters. Once you are there, track down Sakura, Kaiba, and Mutou...threaten their lives, come as close to killing them as you dare." Kaimiri replied. "And killing their leader, Maximillia Trent, would be helpful as well."

Kaiba drew--or, Ruby drew for him. "I attack your Blast Magician with my Kaiser Glider. Say goodbye to your mage."

"Sorry, but no." Selena said. "I activate the Ghost spell card. None of my Spellcasters can be destroyed by battle."

"You still take the damage, though." Kaiba pointed out. (Selena LP: 3000) "I end."

"Remember when Trent was killed, she got revivied" Dark Ashleigh reminded Kaimiri

"A person can only be revived once," Kaimiri said. "Trent's had her second shot. Once she's killed again...she's gone for good."

"I don't think that's possible. She has the protection of Duel Monster Spirit World so she can't be killed again. I did my research" Dark Ashleigh replied.

"That will be problematic," Kaimiri said. "Especially since both worlds are linked; if they're cut off from one antoher, they'll both be destroyed."

"And that's another problem! no matter how long the paths are destroyed, the paths will be always be rebult. And it has been proven over the centeries" Dark Ashleigh pointed out.

"Hm..." Kaimiri hummed. The left side of his face was covered in a protective shield, thanks to all the damage he'd sustained against Seto Kaiba. A good part of his body had been destroyed as well, and had to be regenerated slowly. Without a doubt, Kaimiri did not enjoy being helpless. "Once I at least have the use of both my arms, I will have to reasearch this...and before you ask, I am aware that Yusei Fudo has been retrieved by them."

"I told you that beforehand, remember?" Dark Ashliegh pointed out yet again.

Kaimiri nodded as best he could. "I was also semiconcious when you mentioned it." He replied.

"Just think of it. In 3 weeks time, we will have the shard, overthrown your dad, have time and spaces stuffed up, and have the paths of DMS world and the other world permently broken" Dark Ashlegih said.

Kaimiri smiled. "No, let's not break the paths." He said. "If we do that, then both worlds will be destroyed, and we'll have nothing to rule over.

"I want to combine the two worlds, to make them into the one world they started out as."

"They were two worlds to begin with as my research goes. How did you know that they use to be one world?" Dark Ashleigh asked curiously.

Kaimiri raised an eyebrow. "You'd be surprised what I know." He replied. I also know that some of the duel monster spirits chose to stay in this world, which reduced them to nearly normal humans. Why, I do no know.

"Ok.So, in the meantime, what are we going to do?" the entity asked.

"Bide our time," Kaimiri replied. "We both know that with the state I'm in, I can't do much of anything."

"That's true" Dark Ashleigh said, "but remember this?" She pulled out the wristband.
