Unlike Yuma, Astral did not have to worry about ending up flat on his face. "Observation #16: Yuma's balance is...less than impressive..." He sighed.

"Owowowowowowowow" the freshman said, sitting up and rubbing his head.
"Ok, who in the blazes are you two?" Ashleigh asked, who is a little pissed off about what she got told.

Astral blinked. "You can...see me?" he asked.

"Well of course. My family can see spirits, well what's left of them, also my husband and children can see them. So it's not a huge biggie" Ashleigh replied.

"I see," Astral said. So there are others who can see spirits other than Yuma. Interesting. His eyes were drawn to the wings sprouting from the woman's back. A man, farther back on the path, had wings as well. "You're both angels."

"Well, that's my destiny" Ashleigh replied, "but you didn't say who you are."

"I am Astral." Astral replied. "My...partner is Tsukumo Yuma."

"I'm Ashleigh" the angel replied, "And after the battle I'm facing, I'm about to do another set of training. Over there is Gabriel, my tutor."

"What battle?" Astral asked. He glanced down to Yuma, wondering why the teenager was oddly quiet. Usually he couldn't keep his mouth shut sometimes.

"Well, I can't leave you guys here. I guess you have to come with me" Ashleigh said, pulling Yuma to his feet.

"It appears so." Astral said. "Before Yuma and I were transported here, we were told that we were suppsoed to help defeat an evil in the past. I am assuming you are fighting that same evil?"

"I guess so" Ashleigh replied. Then Yuma clicked on what happened.
"Where are we? What's going on? Who are you?" he asked like the Doctor on Doctor Who.

"You just realized what is going on?" Astral asked.

"Is he always like this?" Ashleigh asked, facepalming.
"Is this really happening?" Yuma asked, then got pulled by the ear by the angel back to Gabriel, Astrial following.
"What in the blazes is going on here?" she asked.

"Yes, Yuma, I would say it is happening." Astral replied. "Setsuna was right; you truely do have the ability of ignorance."

"Huh? How did you know about Setsuna?" Yuma asked, confused. Ashleigh facepalmed again.

Astral sighed in exasperation. "I was ther when you met him, Yuma." He said. "Observation #17: there are some humans with an inability to notice their surroundings."

"What? We can time travel too?" Ashleigh exclamed, "That's it, I'm going back!"

"I do not know who brought about this event, but it was not an arch angel. However, I do not feel anything malevolent about the power that brought them here." Gabriel replied.

"So, should we head back?" Ashleigh asked.

Gabriel nodded. "And take Yuma Tsukumo and Astral with us. They were sent back in time for a reason." He replied.

Ashleigh nodded.
"We need to hold hands so we can go back" she explained.
"And what would happen?" Yuma asked.

"You would be lost here." Gabriel replied simply.

"That's not what I meant. What I meant was what would happen after we hold hands?" Yuma asked, resulting with a head shake from Astral.

"We would return on their end of this spell. That is my conclusion." Astral replied.

Gabriel nodded. "You would be correct." He said. "You will not have to hold hands with anyone, as you are bonded to Yuma."
