"Be careful guys" Aka said, now getting Yana to safety. Amelia took Yana's wand.
"I will give it back. I just want Kaimiri to come back to his senses" she said.

Meanwhile, the Signers plus one were speeding towards the old town center. I hope we get there in time to help, Yusei thought.

"Yugi, you have to be careful when you attack" Ashleigh said, "You and Kaimiri has some of a connection."
"Say what?" Yuma exclaimed.

"What do you mean?" Yugi asked.

"Kaimiri was born from you" Ashleigh replied, "When one goes, the other will have maximum power."

"Damn," Yugi muttered. "We're in a bind then...."

"The only way to get rid of him if you go face to face in a battle. But I'm not even sure if that's a good idea to do so" Ashleigh said.

"Neither do I." Yugi replied. "If he was born from me...then that means that he'll know my strengths and weaknesses."

"That's correct" Ashleigh replied, "but it's a battle of strengths and abilities, but you have one that he doesn't know about. Use that in your advantage."

Yugi nodded. "I will." He said.

"Yusei's on his way." Selena said. "He and the Signers have some trouble on their hands."

"What is it?" Ruby asked as she returned, "and the arch angels, you're needed."

"I don't know, Yusei got cut off as he was about to tell me." Selena replied. "I hope they're all right."

"CROW!!!" Yusei shouted as the monster slammed Crow into the ground. His ka, Blackwinged Dragon, faded as its master was knocked unconcious. "Damn it...."

"Yusei, go!" Jack shouted. "We'll handle these creeps! You need to help Yugi and the others!"

Yusei nodded. He grabbed the sword, Zatsume, from his Duel Runner and threw it to Jack. "Catch!"

Jack caught it. "What in hell is this?" He asked.

"A demon sword." Yusei replied. "One of the arch angels was going to give it to you, but since you were...well....Anyway, it's supposed to be unable to possess you. Now's as good a time as any to test that theory."

Jack nodded. "Now get going!" He shouted.

Yusei sped off, hoping that his friends would be all right. If they get killed because of this...I won't be able to forgive myself. He thought.

"We should start" Ashleigh said, "we can't afford to waist time."

"Agreed," Astral said. "Yuma, activate your duel disk and summon Hope. I believe we will need him."

"Right" Yuma said.
"You don't need your Duel Gazier here Yuma" Ashleigh said, "this is still the time which the holograms are still seen without them."

"Really?" Astral replied. "Then we are farther back than I thought we were thrown."

"And this won't be a normal duel either." Yugi said, igniting his aura. Silent Swordsman formed from the dark green, pine-scented aura. "It won't even really be a duel at all."

Just then Yusei showed up. He ran over to them, pulling his helmet off as he went. "Who's the new kid?" He asked.

"we don't have time for introductions. Who told you about this?" Ashleigh asked.
"Laria" Yuma replied.

"How do you know about Laria?" Selena asked, then shook her head. "Right, no time." She activated her Duel Disk and summoned her trump Spellcaster, Black Requiem Magician.

"Right, let's do this." Yusei said, activating his own aura and summoning Stardust Dragon. He pulled the pendant from his neck and it changed into the Crimson Sword, which he kept in the ready position. Next to him, Judai already had Neos out, and his eyes flashed the dualchrome he got from Yubel.

Everyone gasped as the object on Yuma's arm turned into a duel disk.
"Fire at your own will" Ashleigh said.

"I'll be the distraction." Selena said. "Yugi, Yusei, Judai, Yuma, you go after Kaimiri while I'm distracting him!"

"Right, just don't get killed." Yugi said.

Selena smirked and winked. "Hey, I'm immortal. Getting killed isn't gonna happen!" She replied. She turned to Kaimiri. "Black Requiem Magician, hit him with your strongest attack!"

"Is it me or is Ashleigh's waiting for the right time to attack?" Aka asked.

Yugi nodded. "I think she is too." He replied. "Either way, we can't waste any time. Silent Swordsman, attack Kaimiri!"

"You foolish girl! Don't you realize your worthless attacks are ineffective against me?!" Kaimiri demanded. He effortlessly blocked the attacks from both Selena's and Yugi's monsters. "Pathetic."

"If that's pathetic, then try this on for size!" Judai said suddenly from behind Kaimiri. He had a pistol in his hands, but it wasn't normal. It was made of black crystal. He shot, and the bullet not only hurt Kaimiri, but the inflicted wound didn't heal.

"What is this?!" He demanded.

Ashleigh saw Yugi whince in pain, so she placed a protection spell over him.
"So you won't experiance his pain" she said.

Yugi nodded. "Thanks," He said. He wove a spell, and sent it through the ground towards Kaimiri.

"Keep going" Ashleigh said, "the final battle is at hand."
