"I don't know" Mokuba said, "I just don't know."

"Yes. I'm the Queen of Eternity. Yugi's the King and Yana, the Princess" Ashleigh replied, "Now, I found out why I was such an outcast in the first place before I met you guys."

"I see," Selena said. "Well, c'mon! Let's help the guys out decorating!"

Melhana blinked. "Uh, wow." She said. "So you're royalty."

"Always have been, never realised it" Ashleigh replied.


That night, almost everyone was at the mess hall. Ashleigh was looking outside the windowpane, watching the snow fall.
I can't believe that now, it's all over she thought, but I have a feeling that this, is only the beginning.

"Up a little," Jonouchi said. Judai held it up. "Too high! Down!"

"Make up your mind," Judai groaned, adjusting again.

"And..there! Keep it!" Jonouchi said. "Now, where's that hammer...."

At that same moment Kaiba, Selena, and Mokuba started through the doorway.

And Judai's balance chose a bad time to take a vacation. "Oh crap!" he shotued as he fell, taking the sign, Jonouchi, both ladders, and the mess of lights down with him.

Right on top of Kaiba.

"Ow...." Judai groaned.

"Not a good idea when your balance takes a break Judai" Anzu sighed, "and besides, are you suppose to at the mess hall about now. Speaking of which, where's Selena?"

Ashleigh sighed.
"At least no-one will come after me anymore" she said to herself.

"Right here." Selena replied. "Uh, you all right, Kaiba?"

"Just fine. Just stuck under a Christmas party gone wrong, with two balls of stupid on top." Kaiba grumbled from under the debris and idiots."

"Aw c'mon, I'm not that stupid!" Judai whined.

Sora's eyebrow twitched. "You really want me to answer that?" She asked.

"I think we should go and help them out and head to the mess hall" Anzu said. Everyone else agreed and helped the piled up boys out of the pile.

Judai cracked his neck as they headed to the mess hall. "Well, that hurt." He groaned.

"Try having all that junk fall on you." Kaiba said. "And yes, I was including you two in that."

"Is he always this much of an ass?" Judai asked.

"Yeah." Selena and Jonouchi answered in unison. "Been one ever since high school." Selena added.

Melhana tapped Ashleigh on the shoulder. "You doing ok?" she asked.

"Yeah, I'm doing ok" Ashleigh said, "I can't believe it's all over now and we can live our lives again."

"You got that right" Anzu agreed.

"None of you have changed that much either. Still the geek squad." Kaiba said as they entered the mess hall. "I still don't know why I let myself get dragged down here."

"Because you're a total sucker when it come to your little brother." Selena said.

"You and me both." Melhana said. "And Ryo and I are getting married at the end of next week." She shook her head. "Just a few weeks ago it was looking like none of us would live to see Kaimiri gone."

"A few weeks? More like 3 months ago" Ashleigh replied, "Well, at least we won't hear of him for the next 5000 years. What I'm worried about now is this. Will anyone will recognize me with my new body?"

"No doubt about it." Melhana said. "I heard Selena's shriek at the other end of the hall before I tracked you down."

"I see" Ashleigh replied, just as Atem entered the room, "but that doesn't change my doubt, that's all. Maybe I should stay here than go to the party."

Melhana frowned. "That won't solve anything." She said. "Besides, everyone's been waiting for you to come back."

"They being waiting for a younger female, not a older woman" Ashleigh replied. Atem hugged Ashleigh.
"But I wasn't" he said, "I knew you were coming back in a new body. You must come. You had a huge part in this."
"No, I'm still not going" Ashleigh replied.

Melhana sighed. "It's also part pre-marriage party." She said. "And Yugi would be pretty depressed if you didn't come. Same with Yana."

"Mel, you know that the stag do and Hen's party are suppose to be seperate!" Ashleigh pointed out, " and I'm still not leaving this room tonight. It's better if the focus is on you for a change, not me." Atem looked at Melhana.
"Still stubborn than ever" he sighed.

"And I want her there." Melhana said. "She's the maid of honor, after all...and everyone else is looking forward to seeing her there too."

"But she does have a point there though. They're expecting her in her old body, not in her new" Atem said, "That said, desperate times for desperate measures I presume?"

"I'm afraid you're right." Melhana sighed. "I was hoping we wouldn't have to use this...."

Then the two grabbed Ashleigh by both arms.
"No, stop! I command you both to let you go" Ashleigh cried, struggling.
"Even you are Queen, you are still our friend. We don't want a repeat of last time which you ran away from here" Atem sighed.

"That ended badly." Melhana said as she and Atem guided--okay, dragged--Ashleigh to the mess hall. "Time to stop being depressed, my friend!"

"I'm F***ing serious! Let me go" Ashleigh yelled.
"No, and that's final" Atem said sternly.

"Especially since we're here!" Melhana said, opening the door. "Look who's back, guys!"

Everyone stopped and stared the trio.
"Is that who I think it is?" Anzu asked.
