'The ends justify the means, I guess.' Melhana thought as her ka returned. The shadow creature wasn't dead; in fact, it was even more pissed than before!

"Well, that's just great." Melhana said sarcastically.

'Keep doing what you doing and run as fast as you can. It's the only chance we got to defeat that thing' Aka said.

'Got it.' Melhana said, ordering her ka to blast the creature again. And again, it was more pissed than before.

"Uh, this isn't working..." She said nervously.

'I didn't mean the creature, I mean Ashleigh' Aka sighed.
Sometimes she is totally stubbon she thought

'I'm just trying to keep us alive!' Melhana retorted.

'True.....but that's the reason why I said run. When Ashleigh has another power discharge.... Aka replied but it was upto that stage already.
"MELHANA!!!!" Ashleigh yelled.

Melhana dodged the discharge, then ran like hell.

Shit, I'm not gonna make it. She thought. She stopped and erected a shield of solidified aura to deflect the blast around her.

When the smoke cleared, there was another large crater, and Ashleigh was gone.
"What happened?" Mahad asked, finally catching up with the girl.

"Ashleigh's on her period." Melhana replied bluntly, lowering her sheild.

Mahad blushed.
"Ok....." is all what he said.

Melhana raised an eyebrow. "What're you so nervous about?"

"I, well, never heard it before" he admitted.

Melhana was dumbstruck. "You've never heard of the period?" She asked. She sighed. "You know about the time of the month where all women are walking, talking, masses of bitchiness and short tempers?"

"I have seen Isis acting that way before...." Mahad admitted.

"That's PMS, aka, the period." Melhana replied. "It's also a time of month where you reeealy don't want to piss off a woman. Which was a mistake Atem made when he and Yugi were still partners..."

Mahad was about to say something to make the awkward moment even more awkward untill there was a flash of thunder and lightining.
"I think we better check it out" Mahad said.
Note to self. Make sure that I don't get Selena very angry he thought to himself.

Melhana nodded. "Right," she said, taking off at a sprint.

Mahad sprinted afterwards.
"And I have to ask" he yelled.

"Ask what?" Melhana called back.

Lighting crashed as Ashleigh walked futher then stopped.

Before she even touched it, Melhana and Mahad caught up with her, still with cimmion sent.

"You okay?" Melhana asked. She didn't dare go near the PMSing woman.

'By the way, Mahado, would you mind clarifying the "you know"?' She linked to Mahado.

Maybe later Mahad replied.
"Why did you follow me?" Ashleigh asked. Another Lighting stike stuck in the background.

"I got dragged along." Melhana replied, looking pointedly at Mahado.

'You'd better hold true to that.' She linked.
