If your refereing to a place like towns on gaia then its a long way off for mene. Things like this cost alot of money and time that mene really needs to develop other things. Maybe in the future (who knows, it might happen) but it will be a loooooong way off. Mene is really at this point too small for such a big expense to be benificial as not a whole lot of people would actually use such a thing at this point.

I'm with Cora. Mene is still farely new, and should focus on general improvements before attempting anything like Gaia Towns...

I'd actually prefer it if Mene never did anything like that. I think it would take the fun out of the forums...

Like jelly said in the other thread, there's no need for Menewsha to have a place to cyber.

@syria: good point, but menewshians(menewshians??) well get bored of the games and forums soonder or later. and it well take a while before we get the world but itd be owrth it.right?

Menewsha has been around for almost three years now, so I don't think the entire userbase will ever get tired of just forums and games. There will always be new users, so even if individuals get bored, it's not yet a worthwhile investment to keep those few users to stick around.

I have to disagree Hyro. I tried Gaia Towns, and that was the very last straw for me. I couldn't take it.

But Mene and Gaia have such completely different environments, that, as Keyori said, users may never get bored of Forums and Games.

Yeah, I honestly don't think Mene should get something like Gaia towns either.. it's just that this community has different preferences and we enjoy being able to just chat. Even if it's by something as simple as talking on the forums. Besides, having something like Gaia towns would just lag the server anyways with all the extra images and flash/java (?) crap being used. D:

I can only speak for myself here but other than the odd event
in which going to Towns is made worth my while (and not very often, even then) I don't go to Towns. I guess what I'm getting at is as much time, money and effort Gaia put into that program for it to be pretty much abandoned most of the time is kind of a waste.

I totally agree with Syraannabelle. I didn't come to Menewsha for it to be like Gaiaonline. I wanted something different.

Needs a grid or virtual world for us to roam and meet.

I think Mene is doing alright without one though, so I wouldn't go so far as to say we "need" something like that.

this would be nice to have it would give us more to do since the gold cap is 500!

The gold cap is only for games, not for all gold earned in a day.
