"Wait!" Mythos hurried to Jack, leafs from the hedges of the garden still stuck in his hair from his panicked spying. "Wait, Please, Jack... I--"

He stopped, his eyes filling with tears. He knew Jack was feeling the same pangs of rejection, but Mythos' was of a hidden variety. He wanted to confess, but hadn't found the courage before- not even that to speak to the most handsome Jack Macgaven. Who could? Who could look into those ancient eyes and find the power to speak? He had never won Jack's gaze, as he so wanted, but now was his only chance- now before all hope was lost!
