Bush was a %#[email protected] idiot. From what I heard, not very many military personnel where I live liked him. (I can tell ya Commander and SgtMaj probably didn't...and they're former military!)

Yes, I do agree with you on they defend for the country. Some branches get different training.

I am a US Army Reservist. I have talked to people from many different branches about their training. That is why people say, oh this branch is the best and blah blah blah... But, each of us in the military put our lives into danger to protect the country we are fighting for.

Yeah. I just find it infuriating when people from different branches get into heated arguments about who is better. I am thinking that they have never been into that branch, they don't know how it is, and so they should just shut up and concentrate on making the United States better.

I had wars everyday [not physical but what word wars] between people who wanted to join the Air Force and people who wanted to join the Army. I grew so sick of it.

Same here. People like should find out the hard way how the training is. They get their stories from someone else and yet they can say that branch is the best.

I do get defensive on what branch is better. People do not understand how much sacrifice for them to walk on this country we have today. There were many people that lost their lives. They do not take much account on that. Seeing war is very traumatizing, which I have heard from everyone's experiences and from different branches.
