Mieko closed her eyes as she went back to sleep. When she woke she found herself in a room with scientist she remembered a few of them from her days with the government. "Morning Meiko how are you." She looked as one held her arm. She looked down as she saw him programing her arm. She just stared as she tried to understand what had happen. She couldn't be a machine, the last thing she remembered was scott telling her to get down what was this? She looked about the room trying to see if the government had stole her and did this to her without her consent.

Seeing Meiko awake, Scott went over to her. "Meiko, a bom went off in my apartment. You were very badly injurd. The only way the doctors could save your life was to make you into a cyborg. You look the same as you did on the outside, but on the inside you are a machine. It was the only way to save your life."

Meiko felt better that Scott was there, though she thought it had only been a minor cut. She looked in a mirror he was right she looked the same though she didn't feel attached to the body. She looked down at her arm as she scientist finished with it and gave her a warm smile. He asked her to moved about and try out her new body. She held out her arm surprised how it moved like her other then she walked she found it much easier to move in this body.

Scott gently held Meiko's new hands. "I am greatfull that you are alive. I was so scared that I would loose you."

Meiko gave him a smile as she grew use to her new body. She looked at the scientist who stud there waiting to say something. She turned to him. "Let me guess I have to learn now the things this body can and can't do right?"

"Thats what I had to go through" Scott said. "But knowing you, it should only take a day"

Meiko turned and gave him a wink as she laughed she stopped as she couldn't really feel her laughing. It was strange.

Scott helped Meiko get used to her new body as best he could, helping her walk, grab objects, and use her new features such as thermal-vision and uploading data.
