"O...um...sure. I'm Skyler..." Skyler bit her lip. Maybe she was acting like the other guy. But he wasn't too good of one. Why did I go to the lake to practice! She thought. She was really annoyed about that. She looked at the person. "And what is your name?"

"Well, I won't tell you my name yet, but you may call me Tsuki." Shadow replied, a small smile upon her lips. She cast a look around, "I suppose this was the first place you ran into after getting away from them huh? It doesn't suit you."

Skyler nodded. "I heard them so i hid...but he found me anyway...I should of stayed quiet...I'm so stupid!" Skyler put her face into the palms of her hands. She felt like a 5 year old again.

Shadow's smile dropped and she felt sort of bad but she sorted through Skyler's memories for an image of the guy. Her mouth formed a small 'o' of surprise. Then it turned into a grim smile, "It's alright Skyler, Law's one of the best of the government, I would have been surprised if he hadn't figured you out, come, you should get back somewhere safe." Shadow closed her eyes again to go through Skyler's thoughts, to try and locate her home.

"I don't have any where to go...I wonder around every day...No where to go..." Skyler smiled slightly. "So his name is Law...He tried to lie, by acting, but i could see through it...I heard him talking the whole time...that's why i hid...It seems he is the best, because he figure out i had powers...I think..."

Shadow sighed again, "You can crash at my place...?" She offered. She was used to this, offering her place up for the random people with powers that she came across, it was fine, since she lived alone anyway. "He most likely did, he's not to be underestimated..."

"I would hate to do that to you." Skyler hated using people for little things like that. "Yeah at first he was believing me...but then...he did this weird thing and well yeah..So i had to change what i look like. i hate it...but this is the 4th time i changed today so no one knows who i am..." Skyler admitted she needed to be more careful, but it was so hard not to practice and help people.

Kira was running around a park as she was being chased by government agents she couldnt give away her location but she had to do something as she was about to be captured. Her location was already comprimised. She ran through the trees then through the streets of the city. She had to figure out some way to get rid of them. As she rean through the streets she came up on this chinese restaurant. She ran inside and through the kitchen. The cooks freaked out as she ran through to the alleyway. One of the agents was running down the alleyway towards her so she used her telekenetic power to move the dumpster in their way. She ran the other way and disappeared into the on coming crowd of people. Grabbing a jacket from a near by staircase she put it on and kept walking towards a bar of some sort. What another wonderful night of helping people. She had just saved a woman and her child in a burning building without even using her powers. Yet the agents still came after her as if they had known. She walked into the bar and saw a person playing with water talking to what seemed to be another person. She started to relax as she went to the bar and ordered some water for herself.

"Well just remember then, my doors always open." Shadow handed the other girl a card, "Just call me first, so I know you're coming." Another person with powers had entered the bar. 'How many are there? Shadow thought as more images flooded her mind. She had to learn to block them out sometime soon or she'd go crazy.

Kira looked at the one that had seen her. Knowing he could read her mind she decided to ask. A mind reader huh? "So you gunna stop looking? You know that theres no way to tell how many there are. Or you could just go through government files" She looked back at her water as she drank it.

Shadow closed her eyes, "Even the government files have holes in them." She replied softly after she had walked over to the other girl. Maybe she should just call it quits and leave for the night? She definitely needed the sleep today...

"True... My names Kira. Do you have a place to stay?" Kira asked as she took a drink of her water. She couldnt help it. Either they had a place where she could stay or Kira had a place where the girl could stay. Either way it was what it was. She looked around as she took a pen she had in her pocket and let it just float there. Spinning in circles.

Skyler smiled, then frowned when another girl with powers came in. "Another one?" She couldn't believe that the girl was doing her powers in here. She got up, and decided to take chance and go outside again. She went outside hoping nothing bad would happen. She walked around looking both ways every time she went somewhere...

"Yes. I do. Do you need a place to stay?" Shadow inquired. When the other girl, Kira, took out a pen and started making it float and spinning it at the same time she growled lightly in annoyance and snatched the pen out of the air. "Do you wish to be caught?" How could anyone just openly display their powers in front of humans who could just go out and talk about it and sooner or later they would have the government trailing after them again.

Kira looked at the other. "I do not wish to be caught. I simply forgot i was in a bar. Sorry." She looked away at her water as she put her hand in her pocket to take out some cash. "I wouldnt want to intrude on you. I was just trying to see if you had one. Sorry for the inconvenience." She took another sip of her water. The pen trick was a little close to my hand for anyone to suspect I was really using my powers to their full extent but still it was dangerous. I just want to feel free again. She sighed and took another drink of her water. "If you would like i can stay with you guys."

'Sure. The more the merrier.' Shadow thought back sarcastically, 'Come if you want. I don't really mind.' She added and then thought of the route back to her home. 'You got that?' Her eyes traveled around the bar again, true the pen had been close to her fingertips but Shadow wasn't ready to take any risks. Not tonight when there were so many government officials wandering around. No, not tonight.

Skyler walked around. She looked everywhere, and then found a place that was deep into the forest. She knelt next to the small little pond, and started to make waves, but not big ones, so no one would really notice.

((Arg, sorry for not posting for so long.))

Casper ordered another drink, downed it, ordered another, and another. The bartender knew to stay close if he wanted a tip. Something about Casper's metabolism, though, kept him from getting wasted so easily. He'd have to stay for a really good night if he wanted to get drunk. It did give him energy though; maybe it's his fire? He stopped this mind-rant for a moment. "Too many shows"? He thought, scoffing, and chugging his drink angerly. Who was she?! Some little girl telling him what to do. Sure, he'd been visiting a random bar every night, but lay low? Casper M. Anderson does NOT lie low! He'd write "BITE ME BITCH" in the sky if he could, if cloud control was his thing. 'Course, he could always send fire up in the sky... It's not that I want to get caught, I just think hiding is the equivalent of running with my tail between my legs... He justified, finally slowing down his alcohol intake.

"It sounds like you do mind." Kira said with a smile. "Thanx for the directions. I might use them sometime" She took another pen and wrote all of it out on the napkin there to make it look like the other had written it. She didnt really know what to say after that so she finished off her water and got up. "Sorry i have to go see someone. You can come if you would like." Kira knew it was dangerous but she hadnt seen them for a long time. How is my brother getting along. My father even. He was prolly so worried about me.. She started to walk to the door of the bar at a slightly fast pace knowing there would be at least one government agent combing this area and if not then they would be shortly. The Agents had the whole city basically on lockdown.

With some cash still sitting in his pocket, Casper got up from his favorite bench in the bar, heading for the door. He wasn't following the girl, but it was best, he thought, not to stay in one place too long. After walking for a bit, he ended up in Central Park. Even in his favorite secluded spot, up in a tree looking over a small pond, Casper kept his mind closed off. He knew all too well that mind reading was a popular talent nowadays, and it had become a habit to shield his mind. He'd gotten quite good at, too. If he was feeling narcissistic, he might say he had some mind control himself; but he knew he just had a strong barrier. Taking a leaf in his fingers, Casper singed it silently, and let it crumble between his fingers. The ashes fell on his knee, and he brushed them away. From his perch in the the tree, Casper could see the larger pond, and the smaller pond, both shimmering quietly in the sunlight.

Skyler put her black cloak on, and a black glove so no one would know who it was. She pulled up the mask so you could only see her eyes. She started to move the water in the small pond faster, and higher. She would drop it after a while just so no one would see it. She giggled a bit. She enjoyed seeing the water moving, a no one able to see her. She made the water look like a fire water drop. It was her symbol. She made it splash down in the shimmering water. No one could see her...or could they?

"Stupid." Shadow muttered as the fire-user left. She was slightly irked by the little girl comment but she let it slide as she noticed a man dressed in a business suit enter. He definitely didn't look like he was there to drink. Shadow grit her teeth, 'Time to disappear.' She thought and then the room was plunged into darkness. To the others anyway. "Who turned out the light?!" Somebody screamed. Shouts accompanied Shadow out the door followed by crashes as the regular humans inside ran about trying to figure out what had happened. It was a simple thing really, she had just spread her mental net over everything and then tapped into one of the easier illusions she could cast. Darkness. After she had walked a few feet away she blinked and the illusion fell. "How troublesome..." She murmured as more and more images invaded her mind. She wasn't trying to read them but they appeared anyway. A drop of water, a burned leaf, and a family. She closed her eyes and groaned, earning her some strange looks from passerbys. How much longer would they be able to last now?

Kira noticed a man in a suit had just entered the bar she had left. She walked slowly as the fire bender walked behind her going into the park once more. He stopped and started to play with a leaf. Soon after the leaf was singed. She smerked a little at the sight. No wonder the park was so soothing. She started to hurry across as she saw a girl sitting at a pond while it went up and back down. She looked away pretending she hadnt seen as she started to get closer to where her father lived. One of the apartment buildings across from the park. It was her room that had the great sight of the park but it was her brothers room that had the horrific sight of the alleyway next door. Gang violence and everything happened there. Of course the agents always waved that off and came after the people with the powers. She ran to the alleyway and forced the ladder down using her powers. Once she was completely up she made it go back up the fire escape. She went the the third or top floor and opened her brothers window but undoing the lock. She climbed through and went to the living room knowing they would be there. She saw them watching baseball as usual. Going into the kitchen she grabbed a glass for water and slammed the cabinet shut but not so much that it was too loud. Her father looked behind him and jumped out of his chair. He ran up to her hugging his little girl. "Oh ive missed you so much. You havent been hurt have you?" Fatherly love. Who wouldnt want to come home to that.

Hearing the sound of moving water, Casper nearly fell out of his tree in surprise, knocking him out of his reverie of silence. This of course, made some noise, and gave his position away. So, he let himself fall out of the tree, nearly twisting his ankle as he landed, with some grace. "Hello." he said to a girl, probably the cause of the moving water. He didn't say it mysteriously, as much as casually, as if he were saying it to a friend he passed in a school hallway. "Um..." he fumbled, guarding his mind automatically. "Yeah, hi.. I saw your water thingy. That's kinda cool." he tried, trying hard not to scare the girl. "Doooon't worry, I'm not with the government." Please note, this didn't sound like he was trying to soothe an animal, as much as he was trying to think of something to say. He flicked his fingers, creating a spark of flame. "I'm a good guy."

She turned around to see the person talking. She watched the flame flicker back and forth. Skyler nodded. She loved the sound of crackling fire, and loved the sight of the fire. She smiled. "Same." She moved the water around her like ribbons, then back into the water. She enjoyed practicing when she knew she wouldn't get caught. She looked at the person. "What's you name?" Her soft, gentle, calm voice asked.
