The girl's voice put Casper on his guard, and his small bit of fire guttered out. The way she looked at his flame, the way the water moved about her, even her voice was enticing him to come closer to the girl, her sapphire eyes deep. It made him nervous. It made him not want to trust her. "Show me your face." he countered, keeping his mind guarded.

Skyler did as she was told, and took the cloak off and the mask. "These aren't my real eyes, their contacts, the government found me, so i had to change what i looked like." She looked at him. He seemed unsure to her. She just couldn't tell. She made the water spin around her, which made her look like her normal self. Her bright blue eyes shining brighter in the moonlight. It worried her.

Kira rand and hugged the man who spoke. He was such a worry wort. "You know me." She said with enthusiasm. She took the glass in her hand and filled it with water. Her brother stared at her as if he had seen a ghost. When he finally decided to get up Kira put down the glass and was already on her way to greet him. She gave him a huge hug, in which he returned ten fold. Gasping for air she spoke. "Ok... ok.. cant.. breathe." So her brother let her go.
"What you can take on government agents but you cant take on your football star of a brother?" He said as if to suprise her. He had grown alot since the last time she saw him. Not only was he taller but alot more muscular. He use to be a shrimp stick, short and skinny.
She looked into his eyes as she spoke. "Of course i cant. What did you do take steroids?" She asked jokingly. She knew she couldnt stay for long and so did her father when she looked at him. His face was that of woe as if he knew she was leaving soon. She couldnt let the government track her here so her visits were usually short. She took a playful punch to one side of her brothers chest and smiled. "Looking good from when i saw you last."
Her brother laughed at both the joke and the last comment. "Well you know me, I cant help but do things to attract the ladies.
Kira almost ignored the comment but decided to force out an "Uh-huh" She looked back at her father and hugged him again. "Im sorry you two but i have to go so i dont attract attention here. Take care." She began to leave when her father spoke.
"Wait... Give us a call sometime and take this." When Kira turned around her father had a box with a cell phone in it in his hand. She looked at it confused as he handed it to her.
"You got me a phone?" Kira knew he wouldve programmed the home number and his cell in it before he could say anything. She took it as he handed her a couple hundred dollars for food and stuff while she was gone. She tried to refuse but he pushed it into her hands. Giving him a huge hug, her brother joined in and squeezed them both tightly. She almost couldnt breathe. Kira left through the same way she came in and took the directions out from her pocket to that girls house. Soon she was running back towards the park. She saw the two next to the water and stopped, watching from behind the scenes.

When the girl removed the mask, Casper immediately recognized her as the girl from the bar. He congradulated himself for being so observant. Remembering the mind-reader's openness to the girl, Casper decided he could let loose some information. "I'm Casper." He began. Something told him he was being watched, but he passed it off as the girl in front of him; but he was still careful. "The government, huh? They're a bit pesky these days.. So how about your name, Ms. Mysterious?"

"Skyler." She smiled. "Yes the found me today but i got away before too much happened." she sighed. "Nice to meet you Casper. I never saw you before..." She took out her cell-phone and looked at the time. She smiled and put it back.

Shadow sat on the branch Casper had previously occupied, watching as he and Skyler exchanged words. A slight rustling below her alerted her to the other's presence and she glanced down to see the top of Kira's head. 'is everybody here right now?' She had walked around the city for a bit and had gotten bored with the things that normal people thought about, no one seemed to have any drama in their lives recently. A passing breeze ruffled Shadow's pink hair and she let one of her legs dangle over the branch, swinging it back and forth idly, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Nice to meet you too, Skyler." he greeted, a bit of habitual sarcasm seeping into his voice. Sometimes he reminded himself of Sawyer/James from Lost... Okay, now it really seemed like someone was watching them. Casper glanced around, something he got the feeling he was going to be doing a lot. "So," he began, turning so he could see her, but also had a decent view of his surroundings "was there any epic action in your government encounter?" Despite his obviously edgy behavior, it didn't seem strange, not to him anyway. Even though, as far as he knew, the government didn't know about him, he was pretty careful about his surroundings. More and more people seemed on-edge these days anyway, what with the rising criminal activity, so his behavior didn't really stand out too much.

Kira heard the rustling above her and saw the mind reader from the bar. What? Was all the people with power going to be converging in this spot? She asked herself then started to climb the tree. She finally got to where the girl was and sat on the branch on the other side of the tree trunk. "Enjoying the view?... I wanted to say sorry about earlier if I came off rude. I didnt want to." She said quietly to the girl. She hoped the girl would except her apology as they both spied on the two near the pond.

Shadow waved her hand lazily and then leaned backwards until she was pretty much lying on her back on the branch, staring at the sky. "it's fine, there's a lot to deal with and most of us are on edge anyway." 'And I'm not spying. They just happen to be loud and I wanted to take a nap.' The sky was nice today, clear of clouds and such so that the stars were shining through. They foretold nothing of the disaster that was slowly eating away at the city.

"...it's.. deal with..." Casper definitely heard somebody this time, and he whipped his head in the direction of the voice. "Okay, I know you're there." He declared, not giving Skyler a chance to reply. With all the light from the rare blue moon, the crisp starry night, and the ever-present street lights, Casper could see as well as he could during the day.

"Oh sorry..." Kira said as the man called out to them. She looked down at him and the girl. "Yeah we're here but dont mind us." She called back to him as she jumped down from her part of the tree in view for him to see it was her. "We arnt part of them or anything." She said looking at his dark eyes. She let herself sort of float back up to the brach as she pretended to climb the tree again. She laid on the branch as the other girl did. "So whats your name? Mines Kira." She asked the mind reader hoping the man would drop the fact that they were there.

'You can call me Tsuki...and you already introduced yourself to me Kira.' Shadow thought slowly. her eyes drifting shut. She wanted to go home so maybe now would be a good time to leave? It was getting late and it didn't look like anything else was going to happen anyway. She slowly got back up to her feet, balancing precariously on the branch before she jumped down, landing gracefully a few feet away from Casper and Skyler.

"Tsuki... Oh yeah now i remember.. i did didnt i?.. Sorry, your right the uneasyness is getting to me i guess." Kira said as she jumped down as well. "So i was wondering. You said it was ok for me to stay at your place right?" She asked cautiously trying not to be rude. She landed next to Tsuki with ease. "Sorry its just... I cant stay with them too long you know?" Kira thought of her family to try to help show who they were to Tsuki knowing she would pick it up. 'Itll put them in danger' She thought to her.

Skyler eyes widened and she fell on the pond, but since she was a "water-bender" she just laid on the wall. She got up and walked back on the land. She smiled. "Hello, hello." She looked at Casper. "Me and him acted like we weren't who we were so yeah." She looked at the sky. "W-Well, i better get going." She waved good bye before anyone could say another word, and ran of. She had no where to go. But she didn't care she would miles away for the night if she had to.

'Alright.' She sighed when Skyler started to run away, her plans apparent even on her face. She walked briskly after her and when she showed no signs of stopping she slammed her with one of the darkness illusions, "And you declined my offer of somewhere to stay...so that you could just run about all night?" Shadow asked slowly, each word deadly soft. 'Just start heading over to the place, see if Casper wants to come as well I suppose.' She moved closer to Skyler, wary of anything she might pull, "I'll put down the illusion, if you promise to not run."

Kira saw that Tsuki was walking towards the girl who was running. She didnt want to interrupt them so she decided to head to the house on her own. She wondered if any of the others were going to follow her or if she was going to have to walk alone. Walking alone seemed peaceful though. It would give her time to think. But then again, these days if you walked alone the government agents would pick up on it as being a person with powers trying not to get caught. What to do what to do. She kept walking anyways, with her hands in her pockets. Thinking of the Agents just made a creepy feeling run down her spine. She didnt like the feeling but what could be done about it right?
