"Then youre not that tired if you're still up..." Chris whispered into Shays ear and rolled his eyes totally ignoring Kevin. He held Shay close and stroked her head loving the feel of her warmth and kissed her head. "I love you..." he whispered softly.

Shay smiled and kissed his neck gently, "and I love you." she said and her purring grew deeper. She loved being in Chris's arms and she never wanted to leave. She didn't even bother to listen to what Kevin had to say.

Raven hung on to his shirt. She knew he would never drop her, just more of a reassurance thing. Her eye lid were getting very heavy on her. "Will you please stay with me tonight?" She asked closing her eyes. Raven was afraid of Arthur now. She did not want anything to do with him. Having Alzeid there would only help if anything were to possibly go wrong.

Chris smiled loving Shay's touch and kissed her softly. He was leaning up against the wall next to secari's bed with her in his arms. "We should get some sleep...." he whispered knowing she had to be tired from such a draining day. He smiled and kept stroking her head softly.

Shay nodded and purred as he stroked her head. She loved it and she cuddled closer to him, using his chest as a pillow. "yes, we should.." she whispered as she was already falling asleep.

Chris smiled and closed his eyes. He memorized Shay's soft purr and it was beautiful to his ears. He closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.

amy woke up franticly and stood up and grabbed her sword. "hold on, mom!" after looking around, she breathed for awile then eased the sword down. it was another dream... she shook her head, glad to see she didnt wake anyone and sat back down. she watched everyone and smiled. theyre completely knocked out...

"Hmm?" eyes shut he sat up slowly, "What about your dear old mommy?" Chuckling he stretched and shook his head, "sorry couldn't help but overhearing." Tapping his forehead he grinned, "plight kept me up."

amy sighed looking at kevin. "cant sleep. thats all." she leaned back further into the couch and turned facing him again. "if i could tap into your mind right now, i would you know...tell you to go to sleep..." she muttered grumpily.

Grinning he shook his head, "Might've worked, but its a bit hard to stay asleep." Frowning he shook his head again.

amy waved her hand in front of her face. "such technicalities never occur to me."

"Hmph. And you think I'm obnoxious. One thing I want you to learn, right now, is no matter how pissed you may be, always think things through." He shrugged laying back again.

"but that makes anything i actually want to do completely out of the question in this situation, right?" she muttered at him.

"Not really. Thinking things through means you collect your thoughts. than figure out whats best," smiling he turned over looking at her, "look at me, I did something stupid earlier. Why would i do that?"

"because every other idea you had at the time was way stupider than the one you did do?" she was starting to get confused, but definitly knew what she was talking about.

"No. My smartest idea was to get the hell out of there." He chuckled, "the best plan was to play the risk and bet on you losers. Do me a favor and don't make me lose my bet.:

amy shook her head. "betting is bad. your on your own there." she laughed quietly.

"Your gambling too." he shrugged and pointed at secari, "Your betting on him surviving, your betting on yourself not getting captured or killed, your betting on them not getting their asses killed." He jerked his thumb at chris and shay, "To be honest, I'm betting my life, nothing more. You, your betting on all of yours."

amy frowned. "damn. i back out of the argument, i know i'll lose..." she felt bad for her friends, and knew kevin was right. she leaned back in her chair and shut her eyes. "have you ever tried? not being a smart-ass about all you know? maybe people wouldnt get so annoyed around you if you werent so much more god damned brilliant than everyone." she glanced at secari. "except secari."

"Meh." he shook his head, "Kinda what I do. Pay close attention, Old man is almost as obnoxious." Sighing he shrugged and pulled off his cloak, revealing a very thick robe underneath. "Kinda comes with the territory, I just don't allow people to get any illusions about my investment in them."

"you realy are a self-centered jerk, arent you?" she crossed her arms.

"everyone thinks about themselves. You, because of your boyfriend, your friends there. Me? I'm just straight forward." Shaking his head, he winked.

(( getting off for tonight, my parents just grounded me, but i can get back on tomorrow, i hope ^^ nights! ))
amy sighed and shook her head pulling her legs up. "i wouldnt call it straightforwardness so much as i would narcissism..."

"Meh, you say tomato, i say tomaato." turning over he lay his head back on the pillow and sighed.

Secari groaned and sat up. "Really? Do we have to argue about point of view this late in the night?" he said and blinked. He looked at Amy and kissed her head. "Get back to sleep... You're going to need it.." he whispered lovingly and looked into her eyes.
