I just wanted to find out from all you web surfing people whether or not you approve of piercings and/or hair dye?
Do you have piercings? If so, where, did it hurt, etc.. If you don't, why not?

Do you dye your hair? If so, what colour do you prefere to dye it? If not, why?

And stuff like that :)

(Where I say "if you don't, why not" I don't mean to offend anyone. I read it over and to me, I sound kind of rude. I don't mean to though. I'm just curious :) )

Piercings; I just have my ears pierced and the top of one of my ears. I really want to get the left side of my bottom lip pierced but my mum won't let me. :( And I won't be allowed wear it in school..
Hair dye; It's my guilty pleasure :). I get it done properly in the hairdressers, like bleach a thin under layer blonde and then darken the rest slightly. Over the next few days however, I tend to dye it some crazy colour. The last time I did, I dyed it turquoise/green on one side and cherry red on the other. Just before Christmas. How smart am I? It's faded now though. I also had coontails. I guess you could call it the "scene" hairstlye?

Anyway, what are your opinions?

I have my ears pierced and I wanted the top and middle pierced too but my parents said no Dx
I also had wanted one on my lip or my nose cause they just seem so cool (and again that too was rejected)
As for hair die, I have high lights in my hair. It was originally blondish brown (cause my natural hair's dark brown so the blond didn't have a full effect) with red but now it's faded so it looks like light brown with brownish red xD
I wanted to die my hair a bright red like a strawberry blond but my mom said no cause it won't work with my hair (and she isn't a big fan of red hair dye) Dx

I don't see an issue with either, within reason. Piercings I am less crazy about and have only had my ears done; I have two on each ear and used to have the top of one done but I let it close up out of stupidity. As for other piercings, I think lip piercings are nice on some people, and belly button rings aren't too bad ,but I'd never get anything like that done myself. Kudos to you if you decide to get anything else done though. :]

I have no piercings and it feels wrong to me. It's hard to explain. My controlling family would never accept dyed hair because they see it as being rebellious. So until I move out of this town and out of the control of my family, dyed hair is a non issue.
I feel piercing are about personal choice. So just because I have none, doesn't mean nobody else can get them.

<3 all peircings excluding belly button. thats grose. But as for hair dye it depends on the person and color.

ive dyed my hair bright red one time, black and red, black, light brown, now its black and blonde.

I have snake bites (I tell everybody the 2nd one hurt and watch their faces twist in confusion), I dyed my hair red and cut it into a mohawk 2weeks ago. Im working on anti-eyebrow and maybe an orbital for good measures ;P

I've been dyeing my hair red since grade 8... I'm 18 now. I hate my natural blonde colour. bleh!

as for piercings I have 1 piercing in each lobe, and one in each helix... I want to do a double lobe and a double helix on both sides someday though...

I have no problem with dye. If you can imagine it do it! Hair grows back anyways. (same theory for hair cuts)
With piercings, each person has a point where it is too much. The point varies from person to person. I have nothing against metal... it's when I see more metal and plastic than flesh.

Too many or less than usual piercings make my skin crawl for a second. I just imagine the process it took to get them and I don't like the feeling.

Odd hair colors are just ... I'm neutral to those. I just notice them more. I don't heart or hate them. I tried jet black hair and it's coming out way faster than what I paid for. I guess I'm leaning more toward the hate side now.:rawrmayor:

I don't have a problem with either. Except with too many piercings as DeLish already stated. Sometimes, it's just a little too much!!

Personally, I love hair dye! I've dyed my hair pink, blue, and purple-twice. I generally find that purple just doesn't work with my hair because it's too dark, that's including bleaching it, too. :/ I'm a fan of the pink and blue, though. I still have intentions of dying my hair red and some other colors. :)

(I don't have any piercings, though!)

My ears are pierced, and I never plan on getting anything else pierced again. I hated it. I have no problem with others doing it, I hated the pain.

However, I love to dye my hair. It's already been over 10 different colors, most unnatural. Right now it's Blue, Green, and my natural hair color (Dark brown). But it was Orange for the longest time and that was my favorite.

Well, I'd say that I love them since I'm covered in holes and my hair is dead from Special Effects and bleach.

I have three piercings in each ear lobe, industrial in my right ear, cartilage in my left ear, nose, and two in my eyebrow. The most painful was the industrial, just because it was one hole after the other. Least painful was the lobes and eyebrow.

As for hair dye, I've dyed it every natural and unnatural color. It's hand in hand with aspiring to be a hair stylist. xD
My favorite is when it's platinum blonde or pink. My boyfriend liked it best when it was green though.

Some people can pull off piercings and/or dyed hair; some can't

I personally have snakebites. I got them when I was fifteen. I'm nineteen now and I've kind of been wanting to take them out, but they are fun sometimes. :P I don't plan on getting any other piercings except maybe my ears. I think liiiittle gauges would be cute.

I haven't done too much to my hair... had blonde streaks for a while, then platinum (like white) ones in the bottom layer, then big chunks of orangey blonde. It's just its natural black now and has been for a while :) I'm planning on dying it dark red soon though.

I used to have just normal ear pircings but I don't really wear earings anymore, and I don't really have a reason to dye my hair, since I have dark brown hair the only color I could dye my hair would be black. :/ But I don't mind hair dye and pircings on other people, as long as they can pull it off. XD

Holes in your body and bright hair makes me weak at the knees...*daydreams* mmmmmmmmmmmm

Truthfully I don't really care. If you want to do whatever to yourself than it's not of my business to interfere. I mean, I wouldn't dye my hair or pierce any part of my body. Only my ears though and that's probably the only spot. I have thought about getting one near my eyebrow but I don't really want to consider doing that. My mother has thought of dying her hair when she goes to Cambodia and lives there. Though I won't see her if she does but I guess I could visit her. Which would take some time but she's my mom. Of course, I would go visit her. So whatever is their choice, then it's their choice and you probably don't have any say in it. Unless you are their parents or something. But still once they grow up they'll probably pierce and do whatever to themselves then.

I approve not just because i have piercings and sometimes dye my hair but its just becoming a normal thing nowadays and i dont think people should be discriminated against for it all these older generation fuddy duddys just need to get used to it and stop making assumptions about it *shrug*

anyways I have 5 piercings
- My industrial (In case your wondering what this is its a straight barbell / through the top and middle cartilage of your ear it goes through two holes :3)
- Left side of my nose
- My right lower lip
- My naval (belly button)
- My ears (i kind of have 3 holes, i just got the normal ear piercings but they closed up and when i redid it the girl got one hole perfect but was too far over for the other so one ear has 2 holes hehe and i actually am able to put something through both)

As for hair dye.
i have put almost every color you can think of in my hair for 6 years except for green xD
But nowadays I only put a small amount of black in my hair due to being an adult and having to deal with employers who wont hire you because of unnatural colors... I have to take out my piercings too while working =C

Personally, I don't mind some piercings, but large gauges and some odd ones (like the person who got surface piercings on her back and then laced them up with ribbon like a corset) I don't like. I like the look of some of the gauge earrings tho, it's just mostly the monster holes that I find kind of repulsive.

Hair, well, I've always wanted to dye my hair red. Although, now that I'm old enough I could (without parental consent) I still haven't done it. I don't think I could pull off dark colors like some people. With hair color, it depends on the person and how that color looks on them really.

I have my bottom lip pierced and once I dyed my hair brown. I hated when my hair started to grow back out, though, because it was half brown and half black. Made me look like one of those skaters or emos or scene or whatever.

I don't recommend getting a piercing, because it's a LOT to take care of and you might be allergic or could get infected and REALLY sick. One of my friends' lip swole up so huge to where they had to go to the hospital. Nor dying your hair, because if you don't take care of that it breaks off.

Just things to look at.

Heart most piercings, just not the ones that go through the little thingy between your nostrils [lulz vocabulary of a fifth grader] and snakebites.

I think that hair dye is alright as long as the person takes good care of their hair. I completely despise all piercings besides the basic ear piercings though. They just look gross to me.

I am in love with both. Ah my favorite hair color is a dark brown then wait a few weeks and do it a dark red and then one week after that a deep dark purple! It all fades to a great color in many diffrent dimentions.

As for piercings well I have 9 and one dermal anchor and plan on getting five more dermals and at least two more piercing. I have my tounge, nose, belly button, two in each ear, my rook and one other. And my dermal is in the middle of my chest.

I definitely <3 piercings and hair dying.

I haven't got a lot of piercings myself, but I love walking through the mall and fawning over all the guys that have lots of piercings.
I've got both of my lobes pierced and then my cartilage on my left ear, but that's it.
Eventually I'm going to get my lip pierced, but who knows when that's going to be.

And I haven't dyed my hair completely. I've streaked it with purple, pink, and blonde. Not at the same time, but still. And I've tipped my hair red, but that's about it.

I dye my hair and pierce myself. I have a septum on my nose, snakebites (yeah i know pretty emo XD) and stretched lobe.
My hair's currently black and dark brown. My original colour is red (ginger kiiidd).
I also have tattoos. (but they're small.. and made by friends :''D)

Dying hair is ok and piercings are nice. They look good. (If you know what suits you).

now i go to bed. it's 5.18 am. I have to wake up in two hours. hahaha.

I've had my lobes pierced multiple times with only one lobe hole remaining open. I've had one piercing in each cartilage and let one close. I've also had my nose pierced and my lip pierced, both of with I had to let close due to work, but am going to pierce whenever I get the chance to wear them freely. Lastly I'd like to pierce my navel.
As for hair dyeing, I also can't do anything extreme with it because of my job, but I don't think I would go too crazy anyway. I might experiment with color a bit, but that would be it. :D
