Ceri glanced up as he spoke, raising an eyebrow. What was going on now? She shook her head but quickly grabbed a bandage for her hand and went to follow him. The potion just needed time now…time to boil and mix. She began wrapping her hand absently, her ice blue eyes peering up at the fairy. He really was worried…“Well lets go…” She said simply and headed towards the door.

He grabbed Ceri gently by the arm as she moved past him and towards the door. Looking at the hand that she just wrapped bandages around. Concern in his eyes. "Are you alright, did you hurt yourself cutting ingredients for the potion?" His wings twitched. Anxious to start looking for Kay but for the moment, Ceri was more important than that. She was injured. More or less. That worry in his eyes seemed to be more for Ceri now than Kay. His grip on her arm was gentle though, she could easily pull away from it if she wanted.

Ceri blinked as he grabbed her arm, frowning lightly. Was he always going to grab her like that? As he spoke she half smirked, murmuring “You could say that….” She then glanced towards the door, shrugging and pulling away a little. “Normally she can block your standard Power sapping potion, so I put in a little bit of my blood, which has her blood to strengthen it” She explained it all with an absent tone, having not really thought about the little slice on her hand. He really did worry about her didn’t he? It was kinda cute in a way, silly and useless mind you, but cute.

"Aa..I see." He nodded slightly when she pulled away and explained. He was still a bit concerned. "Keep it clean, so it doesn't get infected, until it heals." Though he figured she would anyway..and hoped it would heal fast. He cleared his throat lightly. "A-anyway...we need to find Kay.." His wings twitched lightly and he was moving towards the door.

Ceri simply rolled her eyes as he spoke of keeping it clean, starting towards the door. “Yes we do” She replied to the part about Kay absently, walking to the door swiftly and throwing it open. She spotted her fairly quickly in the grass and pointed towards her. “She’s right there… is there anything you don’t panic over?” She mumbled with a sigh and a shake of her head.

She started towards Kay a moment then noticed the look on her face… she did not look happy… Ceri sighed, tilting her head to the side and hanging back. She was not good with emotions and Kay looked like she was having a storm of them inside her. She hung back a little and pointed towards her again, mumbling to Kiryn, “go help the lady…She‘s the one who needs you”

He completely stopped. Just. Completely. Stopped. There was Kay. Right there in the front yard. Not in danger or anything, which of that he was very glad it was..he just..hadn't expected it. He had expected the worse. "Oh.." He smiled a bit..a little bit of a blush coloring his cheeks from embarrassment. "I..guess I overreacted?" His wings twitched and he fidgeted a bit on his feet.

He looked towards Kay. She needed help? He frowned slightly and then nodded. "She looks upset.." With a slight frown he looked at Ceri. "You should go rest, then. I'll try and see if I can..help..her." He moved towards Kay. Those long legs taking him quickly to her and he stood behind her. "Kay?" His voice was soft, a gentle whisper. He would wait for her to respond before he said anything else.

Kay moved slightly so she could look up at Kiryn, "Mhm? Oh are you and Ceri done in the kitchen... with ah, whatever it was you were needing to do? Sorry, I came out here to get some fresh air... Besides... I didnt think there would be room for one more person in that kitchen." Kay looked back at the sky... the blue sky with the swirls of cloud was the perfect thing to represent her mood and swirling emotions.

((Need a baddie do you? Hmmm...lemmie see what I can think up on the spot. And sorry if I make a mistake, I read the first couple pages but I didn't want to read 28 pages as I'm sure you'll understand ^_^;; Also sorry if you've already got an antagonist, but the front page says you still need one so I'm going with that.

Care to fill me in on the important bits?))

Neska chewed her bottom lip as she paced, light blue gown billowing slightly behind her. Forcefully calming herself with a deep breath, she dismissed the messenger.

A human, huh? Neska had heard a whisper in the wind a short while ago, a whisper of Fate, but she had never thought that this could be due to a mere human girl. She was used to knowing exactly what would happen, who would live, who would die, and all else that was to come. But since this girl had entered Underhill, the future had been murky.

Neska did not like a future that was murky. She dealt in truths, as a Seer. She sold the details of what she Saw to the highest bidder, and was living more then comfortably because of her Sight. But now...no one wanted uncertain predictions. She had to pretend to be too sick to expend the energies it took to See, and, while she currently had plenty of money, if the future remained clouded her funds would only dwindle.

She needed that girl gone.

Kiryn's brow furrowed in confusion at Kay's words. The Knight was thoroughly confused. "Ah..Fresh air is well enough..but..what do you mean...there wasn't enough room in the kitchen for you?" His wings twitched slightly with uncertainty. "The kitchen, a bit quaint is more than big enough for the three of us." He scratched the back of his head, still a bit uncertain. He really didn't know what she meant, at least, to him the kitchen seemed big enough. Probably big enough to even accommodate Lyre as well as him, Kay, and Ceri.

A twitch of her elven ears was all it took for Ceri to pick up every word of the conversation, gathering from the comment of ‘enough room’ what Kiryn did not. Seems her teasing about Kay being attracted to him or her had not been so off the mark as she had thought. Well…this was an interesting development. She briefly wondered which it was but decided it didn’t matter quite yet… not till she sorted out her own feelings for that matter.

She skipped over lightly, placing a hand on Kay’s shoulders. “Poor Kiryn... Silly Kay, Don’t worry, nobody would ever be so foolish as to want that type of alone time with me.” She paused, that velvety chuckle echoing out of her warm lips. “Now come on, I need that little fancy holy power you just got for the potion I was fixing… I will carry you if I have to” She said the last with a wing, gazing into those emerald eyes stubbornly.

Kiryn blinked at Ceri. A bit more confused by her words than he had been by Kay's. Were they speaking some sort of odd female language that he'd never come across before? That's what it seemed like to him. He shivered lightly. Looking at Ceri intensely. "What does that mean...'that type of alone time'? We were talking..why wouldn't I want to talk to you? We didn't have to be alone, Kay could have joined the conversation if she wished..but I guess..she'd rather have fresh air.." He blinked at them both. He was pretty sure he was missing something rather important.

Kay had understood what ceri meant by 'alone time'... And she felt a tad silly, but she had still felt.... what, Jealousy?.... at the same time.... "Don't worry about it Kry.... Its a human thing I guess... Ceri has been to the human world an knew what I was talking about. I just felt that you were talking very seriously about very serious things, in a Very serious way, and I didnt want to get in the middle of that"
Kay glared at Ceri. "Carrying me wont be nessicary, I am sure I can walk in to the kitchen just fine" And so Kay pushed herself to her feet, fell, and pushed up again, this time to her hands and knees only. She reached over for a nice big stick laying on the ground, got to her feet a last time, and leaned on the stick for the support. "See I can manage." She stuck her tounge out at Ceri, but in a playful teasing manner. And then the stick broke.
"Well... you dont have to carry me, but maybe you can just give me a hand. So what kind of potion is it? Is it going to help make me stronger, or is it like a demon repelent?" Kay had never seen a real witch potion and she was getting excited about it.

Ceri smirked a moment, chuckling at Kiryn’s cluelessness. Her only answer was to reach forward and pat the violet eyed man on the head, much as you would a child. With that she turned to Kay, listening to her speak. She shook her head a little as she watched, her hands on her hips as she waited for kay to realize she was still a bit too weak.

“Careful with that tongue sweetheart or someone might think you want to use it.” Ceri murmured as she stuck out her tongue at her, smirking wickedly. As the stick broke and she began to fall again the elf woman sighed and reached out, catching Kay in both arms and holding her a moment to steady her. “You are too stubborn girl…” She murmured, watching her a moment.

“That’s it, I’m carrying you.” she laughed, teasingly bending and sweeping her arm under Kay’s knees to pick her up. It took her a moment to get her balance back but then she began walking towards the building, talking to Kay. “Neither actually… I have an idea that might weaken my mother’s power a little bit… make her possible to destroy…I can’t promise anything but it might give you idiots a chance….” she mumbled the last, trying to seem annoyed but mainly looking worried…

"A chance? Oh well that sounds promising" Kay was trying to be enthusiastic... "When I am done helping you with your potion, I want to eat something and then have you help me with this blade. I was wondering if the demon inside you would be enough of a presense for me to try and make the blade active again, just so I can get used to its power and the energy it uses."

Well… at least she wasn’t upset anymore…. She shook her head as Kay spoke but chuckled in her velvet tone. “Planned out my whole day haven’t you?” Ceri murmured absently, walking towards the door. “Come on Kiryn, the princess here demands food.” She teased lightly, grinning at Kay and glancing into her emerald eyes piercingly a moment.

"Well, If I am a princess you had better carry me like one, the way you keep jostling me around I'm likely to have my crown fall off," Kay joked touching the circlet on her head, knowing full well it would not come off... But if Ceri was in a mood to poke fun, Kay would gladly poke back. Kay continued in a very dramatic way, "Come my lowly servants, to the Kitchen." She started to giggle as Ceri and her approached the front door.

Carry you like a princess? And how would that be? Like this?” Playfully Ceri suddenly clutched her closer to her chest so Kay could likely feel her breathing and leaned her face closer to Kays. She half closed her eyes before playfully bowing her head at her, and winked, before walking towards the door once more and loosening her grip. She hummed lightly to herself, absently wondering if Kay would blush. She was cute when she blushed…

Ceri took Kay by complete surprise and if the woman hadnt been holding her, she might have wriggles away, but she did not want to be dropped so she just closed her eyes and tried not to blush, she failed... again... Stupid Ceri, she always gets the better of me. One day I will get the better of her, and it will be she and not I that blushes. "Ok we are inside the house, and I think I can make it from here... Besides I dont want you to have too much fun toting me around." Kay was all smiles again, trying to make light of Ceri once again getting the better of her.

Ceri smirked at the blush, grinning gently. As she heard Kay speak she nodded, playfully walking to the couch and dumping her on it. She then sat down, knowing Kay needed to summon the armor first… She knew one way to get the holy energy, it was now in Kay’s very blood, but she had a feeling Kiryn and Kay both wouldn’t be letting her take that…she’d just have to help Kay figure out how to put the holy energy in the potion another way…

"OK Ceri, I am getting pretty hungry.... so what do you need me to do for your little potion?" Kay looked at Ceri who had plopped down beside her but was staring at Kay in a very calculating way.... "Can you please at least blink every once in a while? It freaks me out when you just stare like that..." What is it about me that makes her stare so... She did that when I first met her too....

((lol this is actually a lot of fun to read. Not much room for me to jump in so I'll just stay in the background for now ^^))

Kiryn just followed them back to the dwelling silently. Still trying to puzzle out what they had really meant. Maybe it was just a human thing..Humans were a bit odd anyway. But still. Those wings twitched abit as he moved. A light sigh passed his lips as he watched them. Watched them watching each other. He shook his head slightly and moved into the kitchen. Grabbing a purple fruit he returned to where Ceri and Kay were, moving towards Kay he held the fruit to her. "Here, you should eat something."

I thought I did blink…” Ceri responded absently, blinking as if to show she did. In all honesty that piercing gaze of hers was not deliberate so she never meant to do so … She was just always thinking… Tilting her head to the side she watched Kay a moment longer, smirking to herself a moment. She knew better then to suggest the easiest and quickest way…especially with Kiryn right there ready to attack her for even suggesting it… Much as he reacted to her cutting herself who knows what a fit he’d throw if she cut kay…even with Kay’s permission which she had a feeling she could get… She was starting to realize that the human was stronger then anyone here gave her credit for…

“He’s right…” She mumbled as Kiryn spoke, standing and walking to the window. She didn’t want to look at either of them as she spoke, her gaze focused out on the forest. “You’ve very blood is holy now Kay… but being I doubt you want to cut yourself it seems we’ll have to teach you you’re first spell… though I’ve never been very good at holy spells even before…so I don’t know how or what to teach you yet so it’ll be a lot of experimentation…” She said it thoughtfully, her gaze unflinching as her mind wandered.
