Ceri had been putting the potion vials away when Lyre had entered behind her. She smiled to herself but went to put the last one away when she heard an ominous crack in the roof and sounds from outside of a fight. Instantly her mind flew to Kay but she was more concerned with her and Lyre before she could worry to much for Kay… having a roof cave in on you and your best childhood friend could do that.

Seeing a sharp piece of wood about to impale Lyre’s head Ceri reacted without even thinking… not even hesitating she threw herself at Lyre so she pushed him out of the way and landed on top of him. She let out a stifled cry of pain as the wood soon pierced both her leg and the floor and the glass vial she’d been holding was crushed inside her hand. Wood soon had tumbled down on top of her back as well, pinning both her and lyre. This is where they would be throughout the fight…

Though the cuts of glass in her hand hurt the least of all the wounds, it was of the highest concern. The potion being made of her blood would not only work more efficiently against her mother but her as well. She was trapped and her magic useless. She didn’t dare call the demon’s strength…not with lyre beneath her…..what if she hurt him…. Instead she simply put her hands against the floor and pushed up as much as she could and looked at Lyre “I… I’m sorry….you okay?” She asked, her voice cracking with pain briefly. Her back was hurt somehow… but she was a bit too distracted from her own impaled leg leaking onto the floor to care….

Lyre winced when Ceri knocked him to the floor and could only laugh darkly when she asked if he was okay. "Am i okay? How much damage have you done to yourself Ceri?" He could see they were trapped and well, if his pants leg starting to become somewhat sticky and sticking to his leg was any clue he was pretty sure Ceri had gotten hurt. He bit his bottom lip and worked his arms out of the debris, reaching behind Ceri and shoving some of the wood off of her, the smaller pieces anyway, he couldn't do much about the heavier beams. She had blocked most of the damage with her body and that made lyre angry, why had she done that? Her life at the moment was more important than his anyway... He took a deep breath and wrenched his other leg out, a gasp of air leaving his lungs as pain shot through his body. Then he grit his teeth again and kicked away more of the debris. He looked up at Ceri apolegetically then wrapped his arms around her, feeling for any harm done to his back. He hissed in anger when he pulled one hand away covered in blood. They had to get out somehow...

I’m fine…” Ceri muttered in response, shivering a little as he reached up to push away the debris. The wood caught on her coat and skin here and there, giving it a strange sensation that she could do without… still as he kicked and pushed she began to feel her burden lighten and pushed up a little on her hands further. She hissed slightly herself as it pushed some glass even deeper into her palm but ignored it. She had to push up… she had to find a way to do it with elfin strength… the demon could throw it off easily enough but with Lyre so close to her and the demon having rested so it would be especially strong when it woke up… “Just some scrapes and bruises. You wouldn‘t have happened to have learned some levitation spells or something while I was gone would you? ” she lied, glancing at the floor.

"Oh haha..." Lyre muttered sarcastically, "Haven't been able to use magic much since your dear mother..." Lyre trailed off and bit his tongue. "Nevermind." He made a sweeping motion with his blood covered hand and a wind whooshed by, only strong enough to help move some of the beams. It was the best Lyre could do. He grunted, he could try slipping out... "how much longer can you hold up?" He questioned, eyes measuring the opening he had created while pushing random pieces of wood around.

“Long enough….” She answered absently, pushing upwards a little bit. She said nothing a moment before looking him over. She frowned, having not missed the remark about her mother. “Will discuss whatever she did later….but….. If you could slip out… I might be able to do something…..” She murmured, watching Lyre with a intense stare a moment. What had her mother done this time? And why hadn’t he told her? She…she’d rip that woman apart….somehow….

Lyre nodded and then grabbed onto one of the heavier beams with his arms, pulling himself halfway out. He managed to get his head and shoulders clear of the debris first. He grit his teeth and continued to pull himself out, ignoring the wood piercing his skin and cutting him all over. A moment later he was out, covered in cuts and bruises and bleeding from some wounds but out. He managed to shove some of the beams away but the others were too tightly packed together, "I'm out." he called to Ceri, "Should I move more would or something?"

((Note: the hellions are here *points to two blond, blue eyed girls I’m babysitting* so I may be slow XD))

“Just get as far away from here as you can…” Ceri suggested in a dark tone, closing her eyes and curling her hands into fists. Focusing on as little of the demonic strength she could she finally managed to push up further. Slowly she managed to use the demonic’s strength, though it too had been weakened by the potion, to pull up the board that had pierced her leg with a cry of pain.

A few twists of her arms, legs, and body finally pulled herself free…. Only to collapse the second she was out, clutching her stomach where her belly button ring pulsed. Bleeding from her leg and back she simply stayed there on all fours, breathing hard as she suppressed the demon as best she could…

Lyre did as told and waited a few moments before moving back in to find Ceri collapsed on the floor. She was bleeding badly but Lyre didn't think that that was the cause of her discomfort. "C-Ceri...?"

((ugh...I'm sorry for such an atrociously short post ): ))

Kisha heard voices and she went towards them swiftly. She found Lyre and Ceri, wounded, Ceri being the worst. She frowned. She walked over to them while saying, "Please don't be alarmed, Im here to help. My name is Kisha. I have healing powers and can help get her out of here. Your help would be welcome if you can manage, Elvin kind." She knelt beside the woman, not touching her yet until she has permission to do so. She frowned looking at Ceri. She sniffed softly several times then whispered while pulling her hair into a ponytail, "She has demon kind in her." She turned now dark green-blue eyes up to Lyre. "We have to get her out of here now, before the house collapses more or worse. Can you help me?"

“Don’t touch me….” Ceri replied shakily, her own elven ears flickering back with pain. She shook her head a little to clear it, glancing towards Kisha. Briefly a hunger flashed in her eyes but she said nothing, simply looking away and grabbing a beam to push herself into a standing position. She reached down to check her bag, finding its enchantment had protected it and the important potion inside.

Sighing in relief she began to shiver, pulling back the demonic energy where it belonged. It had slept yes, but calling on its energy always called on the darker side of hers…. The evil that exists in all things. She then began to try and hobble on her own, resulting in her only falling against the remaining wall with a whimper of pain.

oh screw courtesy. Lyre moved to Ceri's side and wrapped an arm around her to help supposrt her, he'd seen the hungry look she'd shot Kisha and frankly, he didn't really care if she took a chunk out of him. Kisha was right, they had to get out of there before the rest of the building collapsed on them.

Kisha only sighed with impatience when Ceri told her not to touch her and shot her a look. She had become used to such things when she came to land. She stood swiftly when Ceri almost fell, then waited as Lyre took charge of the woman. "If you need to me help move her, I will. Your injured as well. Now, lets go." Kisha moved to where they were but kept a small distance, staying behind them just in case.

Ceri simply let out half a hiss, partially from pain, as Lyre pulled her over his shoulder. She shivered, letting herself be carried without a word. She resisted the urge to claw at him, uncertain why she wanted to but simply glancing for the floor. She held her bag, wanting to say she could walk on her own but she thought it wiser to stay quiet and keep her mouth shut for once…

Kay had been sitting anxiously still by kiryns side when she saw the human girl starting to move again. It was obvious that she was very confused and she was mumbling about Mary. I hope that doesnt mean there is another Human lost out there somewhere.... if there is she wont make it very long.... I know I wouldnt have. Kay watched the girl as she examined herself and then finally spoke.
"Hey," Kay did not know what else to say to her. She was amazed there was even another human standing in front of her at all. "Um, Hi.... Uh Im Kay..... Im human like you, so please dont panic ok?" Kay remembered how scared she had felt with so many new strange people, and creatures.... she did not want the girl to take off into the woods. No one would be able to go after her....
She was also getting more and more worried about Ceri and Lyre... the other two fairies had not come out yet.... Kay's anxiety was starting to make her feel ill.
She waited for the girl to respond before she told her about Underhill, she wanted to see how much the girl had already figured out on her own....

Kiryn had grunted slightly. Those eyes flickered but he did not regain consciousness. The fingers of one hand twitched lightly, as if he were reaching for something..someone..anything..anyone, really. Something real to cling to, something to keep him attached to this plane of existence. A low moan of pain issued from his lips, his body shuddering and those wings twitching as he lay there next to Kay.

[[Quickie!]]

Willow, still groggy, finally managed to sit herself up on the ground. She was still slumped over, but doing considerably better. She heard what kay said, and then what sounded like Kay whispering about another human. Or maybe she hadn't said anything? Willow couldn't be sure, but she answered just in case.

"No, there's no one else with me...and I know about these places. I didn't get it at first, but I can tell now where I'm at. This is a land of Fae, isn't it? It has to be..."

Her strength was starting to come back to her now, and she could stop slouching over. She instinctively tried to pull her hair up and our of her face, but found out rather sullenly that her tie had broken earlier. She settled for brushing it back from her honey hued eyes, until she could find something better.

Kay saw Kiryns fingers twitching and instinctively picked up his hand. She made some soft hushing noises to try and still him. She looked back at the other human.
"So you know you are in Underhill? Well you are doing better than i was when i first got here." Kay was trying to think of the most important things to tell the girl about under hill. She finally said "Right now, who you are and where you came from dont matter right now. What does matter is that there are demons in this world and they think humans are yummy snacks. And when I got here, Kiryn told me not to pull on peoples wings and tails, so I suppose that is an important rule too." But as she had spoken, she remembered touching his wings, and she realized his would never be the same.
She looked back up at the girl. "One other thing you need to know. There is a woman in the house. She has a demon trapped inside her body. Sometimes it is more in control of her body than she is. Dont go near her until I know if she is coming out of the house, or if it is her demon. I dont have the strength to protect you, but I dont want to watch you die either."
That was the best advice she could give the girl for now. She was too worried about her friends to worry about a complete stranger too. She just hope the girl listened at took it to heart. She hoped the girl was smarted than she herself had been when she had arrived at underhill.

The physical contact, when Kay picked up his hand seemed to calm him a bit. Even unconscious he knew that a friend was close to him. However, slowly, very slowly those eyes opened, though half lidded and he could just barely make out the things close to him. Those fingers tightened around Kay's own hand and squeezed, abit weakly but still. He didn't even try to lift his head or look around. He didn't try to move his body. Those lips moved though. At first his voice was just a very very low, cracked, incoherent sound. He tried again. ".......hu..rts....so....mu...ch.."

Kiryn groaned lightly, his body shuddering once again and he flinched, wincing as his wings, or rather, what was left of them, twitched. He whimpered softly, fighting back his body's desire to slip into unconsciousness again.

Willow nodded, a little confused but catching on quickly.

"Well, I didn't know it was called that...Underhill? But I've read about things like this and I sort of...figured it out? It didn't take long. But the demon part...I didn't know I was in such danger. I'll be sure to stay out of the way unless you need me. While we're talking...I can't really go back home, can I?"

She stopped here for a moment, looking at the ground with her eyebrows knit together. Her hands found each other and wrung themselves out.

"I mean, I wasn't planning on going home again anyway but I didn't think this was were I would end up. I'm not even sure if I'll survive here but it's better than where I was..."

She lost herself in a wave of thought...She had no idea how to get back even if she wanted to. The more she thought about it, the more she thought she had gone through some sort of door, or trap door or something. She wasn't sure.

"I'm so sorry...My name is Willow. Am I allowed to ask you yours? Is he okay? I should have asked."

Kay studied the girl for a very long moment. Finally she answered her. "My name is Kay. And I dont know if there is a way back or not. I never meant to come here either. But now that I am here I dont know if I can ever go back. But there was nothing left for me either, back on the other side." Kay looked down at the armor that was still covering her body. She looked behind her and saw that her wings at least were gone for now. Maybe that is why the girl isnt panicing too much. I told her I was human before I even thought about checking my wings. But Kay wondered if she was still completely human. She still did not know enough about the Blade to decide one way or the other.
"I think..." She said slowly, considering the weight of each word very carefully. "I think if you managed to get here, then it was for a reason. Ceri and I discovered why I am here.... it was my fate to weild this holy blade, i guess. There is also a reason for why you were able to get here. Dont worry about Ceri. She keeps a pretty good control of the demon. I just worry that she might be hurt, and not so much in control right now. But she is very careful around others. She would never want to hurt you."
Kay had spoken the easiest parts. But Kiryn, was he ok? She did not know herself, and was even less sure of how to answer. "I am sure he will live... I just dont know how easily" Kay knew that Kiryn was a fighter. She knew he wouldnt just give up and die there in the grass... But his wings, they were beyond repair. How often had he counted on those wings in battle? How much would he miss those wings?

Kiryn had moved, gripping Kay's hand as tightly as he could, which was not very tight. He grunted and his body shifted, as if he were trying to push himself up with his other arm. He couldn't do it. He hadn't the strength for it and just fell back down the few centimeters he had managed to raise. He hissed in pain and whimpered, those half open eyes sliding shut again. The hand that held to Kay's relaxed considerably, going limp in her hand as Kiryn was unable to fight off the darkness that swallowed him whole.

He would not die though. Not here. Not yet. This, this was not the place he was meant to die at. His body shuddered.

When Kiryn had tried to move, Kay panicked. She knew he was trying to sit up and she thought he might have been in too much pain because of how he was laying. "Please forgive me if this hurts to much" Kay said. They were only a dozen yards from a tree and she knew it was just narrow enough, and his back was just wide enough, that she could lean him against it with out any of his wings touching. The tree would fit right between them.
She slowly got to her feet and leaned over him. She slid her own arms up under his armpits and placing her hands on his shoulder blades, paying careful attention not to touch his wings, she slowly lifted him from the ground. She could only raise his upper body up because she was not strong enough. She slowly walked him over to the tree, having to stradle his body as she did it. By the time she had reached the tree her own strength was giving out and she let him go against the tree harder than she had intened. But the tree trunk did land perfectly between his shoulder blades, for which Kay was greatful.

He had stirred a bit when Kay moved him. Coming out of that darkness for a few moments. His body hung heavily against Kay as she half carried, half dragged him to a tree. As she slowly moved towards that tree..a light grunt or groan would escape him if she jostled him a bit too much. He was barely conscious as Kay took him to the tree was just about to slip back into that darkness again when his mind was flooded with pain.

Kay had let him go, in order to prop him up against the small tree. Those eyes of his had opened, wide with pain and his lips parted as if he might scream, but he didn't. All that escaped his open mouth was a loud grunt of pain. Those wings twitched slightly, tattered ends barely brushing against the sides of the tree trunk, cause his back to arch and a low yelp to escape him. Then he had slumped back against the tree, panting lightly. Those violet eyes, so filled with pain looked at Kay. Those lips parted as if he were going to say something, but nothing came out as he slumped forward a bit. Those eyes closing again. He wasn't completely unconscious..just..a bit..half conscious now.

Kay knew that getting him sitting up was a good start, but she still felt that she should do more. She went back over to the apple that had been given to her earlier. She had taken very few bites out of it. She went back over to Kiryn and used her fingernail to scrape off the tiniest sliver of flesh from the inside of the apple. She gently placed it on his parted lips. She figured he wouldnt be able to stomach much, not while he was in so much pain. But she hoped, if she could get him focused on the apple, then maybe he wouldnt focus on the pain.
"Just try this... please," She was not able to entirely keep the sound of urgent worry from her voice, especially after he had expressed so much pain when she moved him.

He had sat like that. Slumped over a bit when Kay went to retrieve that apple and came back to him. When she put a piece of the apple on his lips, his tongue lightly poked out and pulled it into his mouth. He shivered slightly, slowly raising his head to look at her through half lidded eyes. He raised his arms just slightly, and leaned towards her until he fell forward. His head turned to the side a bit as it rested in her lap and his arms had gone around her waist. He wriggled a bit, moving his legs slowly, but to a more comfortable position. He had closed his eyes tightly, but..at least he was awake..and mostly coherent. His lips had moved, but he didn't say anything.
