“Technically we had a demon traveling with us all along” She said with a wry humor, grinning at Kiryn. She shrugged a moment, however, and briefly became slightly more serious. “It’s Kay’s choice now though… so it’s really up to her judgment. For now… we can only wait….” Ceri smiled, quickly laughing and returning to herself. “And as for me I’ll enjoy the view…” With that and a flirtatious wink she started forward at a quick easy pace, almost healed all the way now… the demon within her did have it’s perks.

Cadynce skipped through the woods, humming softly to herself. She sighed and looked around at the trees.
"Wake up trees. Wake up." she whispered, giggling as she did so. She ran her fingers through her blonde abundance of hair. She found a suitable tree for herself and began to climb up it. It was a pine and there were plenty of branches for her to sit on. But still, the blonde prefered the top of the tree. It was just harder to find her that way.

(Would it be alright if I added a character thats not really a character but an animal?)

Kay looked at the dwarf city all around them. The path they were on decended down into the caverous cave and little homes were seen carved out of the rocky surfaces. Smokeless lamps burned all along the walls and through the windows. beautifully carved gems served as door knobs on most houses. The whole city seemed hard at work, carving new homes, cooking the next meal. Children played along the pathways, kicking what looked like a ball, some played tag. Kay was amazed that all this could exist under ground and she almost wished they had more time here, she wanted to explore. But she knew they had to get to the queen, that scorpion demon-woman said she would kill the queen. Kay knew they did not have time on their side. She looked at her companions to see if she could read any of their thoughts about the dwarvish city on their faces.

As soon as they had entered that city, Kiryn's demeanor had changed. He stood a bit straighter, held his head up a little bit higher. These were noble people, and he was a noble warrior. Even with his wings as tattered as they were, he would not show weakness or tiredness to these people. These were a people to be respected, and Kiryn was a Knight. He could not show such weakness infront of these people. These people who lived to work and worked to live.

Kshathra blinked. He had never actually been inside of a dwarven city before. Of course he had seen a dwarf on occasion. Rarely. He knew of their cities, but the boy demon had never in all his life seen one of their marvelous cities. His eyes glittered at the sight of so many shiny things, his mind whirled at the fun ideas that spun around, his body trembled slightly with delight. This..this would be fun. He wouldn't even need to use illusions for this. Kshathra was quick to pull away from Kay, running over to some of the children and whispering in their ear. Giving them all a fit of giggles before he dashed off to explore and undoubtedly cause trouble.

The winged animal soared high above the trees, watching below. His hawk-like vision spotted the blonde girl as she climbed up one of the pine trees. He swooped down until he landed in a branch just out of her reach. He watched her intently with blood red eyes. He wondered why she was there.

Kisha wrung her hands together, the only indication that she was uncomfortable. She mumbled under her breath quietly, "I wish there was water I could go to."

(Let me know if that red color is bothersome for reading and i'll change it.)

Cadynce noticed the bird.
"Bird. Bird. Come here bird." she said childishly. She was now running on little energy. She hadn't eaten in days. She reached toward the winged animal, not even sure if it was a bird. But she found that she could not reach it. The blonde teen began to pout.

The winged cat cocked his head when she spoke and tried to reach for him. He growled softly, his eyes glowing slightly. He would've backed away but she couldn't reach him. He then stood on his four legs and shook a little bit, letting the anger go. The blonde girl didn't seem to be a threat. He decided he would make contact and see if the girl-child would be a nuisance or not. He spoke without opening his mouth, his words were in her head. The voice was slightly deep with a small purr sound to it. "Girrl, what arrt thou doing in this trree?"

Kay and the group had reached a terminal point in thier path not too far into the cavern. Different paths spoked out to verious parts of the city. A younger dwarf ran up to greet them.
"Hello and welcome!" He said to the group. He appraised each one of them in turn and seemed to make a mental list in his head. "Well, you all look like you are tired, probably hungry and a few of you need medical attention and a bath I would guess. If you could, please follow me and I will see to it." The dwarf started to head off at a brisk pace and began rambling facts about the city he thought his friends would find interesting: How many people lived there, how the lighting worked, what they mined, which great-great grandfather had founded what within the city.
Kay was exhausted and could not focus on his words, she was too busy watching Athra, whom she seemed to have taken charge of and was busy making sure he did not stray from the group. She could tell he was very thrilled with all the prospects the strange city offered and she knew that he would be dying to explore, she was too, but not until after a hot bath and a nap.

Kisha followed, becoming slightly more agitated the farther they went into the city. She listened to the dwarf and thought everything was amazing but she still felt like she couldn't breath. She took a deep breath and when that didn't work, another. Slowly, she calmed down enough to where she didn't want to run back the way they had come.

"Just imagine..." Kshathra breathed softly next to Kisha. It was amazing how quick the demon could be. One minute he had been over there and within Kay's sight and the next he was at the back of the group talking to the girl that smelled of nervousness and uncertainty. A smile was on the boy demon's lips. "...If there were an earthquake, part of the ceiling could come crashing down upon us and around our ears." His eyes were bright with excitement as he looked at Kisha. "We could be trapped down here forever." He giggled a bit and dashed off again. This time he returned to Kay's side. Taking her hand in his, he yawned as he looked at her..his eyes no longer bright, but now dulled with what appeared to be sleepiness.

"Nn..Big sis, can we take a bath together?" His grip on her hand tightened just a little bit and he asked that question very innocently. He yawned, bringing his other hand up to cover his mouth. Then hesitantly, almost uncertainly. "...Can I sleep in your bed..with you?"

Kiryn's purple eyes had followed that demon boy. Watching him intently. Almost as if he were just waiting for an excuse to attack him. He walked next to Ceri and seemed a bit agitated..Especially when Kshathra moved the hold Kay's hand again. His fingers twitched, itching to draw that sword, even the tattered remnants of his wings twitched with agitation. Kiryn grit his teeth, he was too concerned with watching that boy demon and to agitated at him to actually concentrate on what their guide was telling them. Those eyes were narrowed when he heard Kshathra ask those questions. Kiryn nearly hissed, "How dare he..!" that hand going to his sword hilt almost immediatly. He looked at Ceri, his expression half begging her to restrain him and half begging her to help him dispatch that demon.

Cadynce's eyes widened in surprise as his words entered her mind.
"I like trees. I hope I didn't disturb you." she said, sitting on the branch and swaying. She cocked her head also, in the same way the winged cat had.
"You're a cat." she said, stating the obvious. The blonde adored cats and kittens.

Kisha scowled, her eyes turning to a dark solid blue like the night sky. She would have hit him if he hadn't moved away right after his words. She said loud enough for everyone to hear because he had returned to the front with Kay, "Talk to me again, Kshathra, and I'll mangle every part of your body." She looked at the guide and tried to smile little. "Sorry to interupt. Please, continue."

"No, I am a Litherra. I have cat's apperrance I suppose but I am no cat. And thou did not distrrub me. What arrt thou doing in the wilderrness girrl?" He sniffed the sudden wind that came. He stood growling. "That is a foul scent. A demon doth aprroach. Stay hidden." Then, instead of flying, he gracefully made his way from branch to branch toward the bottom of the tree. He stopped a few feet up and used his keen vision to look and sniffed to smell.

Cadynce shrugged and watched the winged being go up the tree. She couldn't tell what a demon smelled like but she heard they smelled horrible, like burnt flesh. She looked below her and waited for the inevitable demon to look up and see her sitting up there.

The blade in Kay's mind protested when she heard the questions Athra was asking. I still do not know exactly what kind of demon he is, exactly what all his powers are like. I can not let his youthful appearence and innocence distract me. Kay gently pulled her hand from Athra's, "No I would prefer to take my bath in peace, and I would prefer to sleep that way too. I am sure they will split us into rooms according to gender, you will most likely get to sleep with Kiryn." Kay had hearded Kiryn's hiss of disapproval and she hoped that maybe Kiryn would educate him a little on civility and propriety. Or he will just give the boy a few good bruises to sport for me in the morning. Kay caught herself smiling at the prospect and had to stop herself. Of course she did not want harm to come to the boy, but she also did not want him to feel like he could eget away with everything simply because Kay had promised him safety in their group.
Their guide had stopped ahead of them.
"Ladies, if you will continue down this passage here, you will find an underground hotspring waiting for you. Please take your time. While you are refreshing yourselves we will gladly clean your clothing. After that you will find a door at the rear of the bathing room that leads to the kitchens. We will all me there again at your leisure." The dwarf turned. "Gentleman if you will follow me, your bathing room is just a little farther off." And he continued down the passage taking a turn, still talking about the wonders of the world in which he lived.

Kshathra pouted, that bottom lip trembled and he boy demon looked to be close to tears. "B-but.." Then he had thrown his arms around Kay's waist before she could continue down the path. He whimpered softly and whined lightly. "Your friend's don't like me. They'll chop off my head or rip out my hearts." He sniffled a bit and a few tears did leak from his eyes. He buried his face against her and clung to her a bit tightly. "....Please don't leave me alone." He shivered abit, sending a quick glance towards Kiryn. "Please...don't leave me alone with him."


Kiryn's body was tense, and it was obvious to any that looked at him that he was not happy. Those eyes were narrowed darkly and they didn't live that child demon. His grip around his sword hilt tightened and he took a few steps towards Kay and Kshathra, he did stop himself before he took more than a few steps. Stopping only because he didn't wish to cause a scene. He growled, those torn wings twitching almost spasticaly with agitation and annoyance.

Kisha put a hand on Kiryn's shoulder and gave it a very tiny squeeze. "We'll just have to deal with him for now. Just think, you get to have him all to yourself and tell him how to be respectful." She smiled a little. "I'm sure you will have some kindness with him. If he had to stay with me...I cant imagine he would be around much longer." She gave the shoulder one last squeeze and then headed off towards the hotsprings, so thankful that there was indeed water for her to commune with.

(Brutal, the cat went down the tree, not up.)

Slowly, a sludge type of demon appeared, depositing slime as it went looking for slower prey then it for some food. Dart growled but didn't care. He knew this demon and had no worries. He climbed back up the tree where Cadynce was. "Dont go down therre till the beast be gone but he is no trrue thrroat to faster beings such as us."

((Oops. Sorry.))

Cadynce nodded and watched the demon closely. His being near her sent a chill through her body. The blonde shivered slightly and nearly lost her footing on the branch.
"Why is he here?" she whispered to the Litherra.

Dart shrugged and started to clean one of his paws because just being near that demon made him feel dirty. "He is hungrry, as all demons arre. Pay him no heed but don't speak loudly. Though he canst come up the trree, he will stay till thou comes down. Best not to let him know thou arrt herre."

The dwarf looked from the warrior to the demon boy, shrugged and then continued down the tunnel. He was silent for a change sensing the tension in the air between them. He pointed out the tunnel that would lead Kiryn to the mens bathing pool and then continued on to the kitchen to let the cooks know there would be extra mouths to feed for dinner.
Kay stood looking at Athra. "You can come with us, but if we catch you peaking, you will only wish you had gone with Kiryn, cause I will hurt you much worse, if you peek." She turned to Kisha, "You look like you can not wait to get in that water. And I cant wait to get food, so lets hurry." She turned to Ceri, but she had seemed very quiet durring everything, perhaps she has other things on her mind.

"He eats... people?" she whispered. She looked down and sighed. "I thought that this area was safe.."
She ran her fingers through her hair ((Is it blonde? I seem to have forgotten..)) and watched the demon intently.

(heh. Brutal, its blonde :P )

Dart put on a little cat's grin. "He would only eat thou if he werre to catch thee. Otherr then that, no place is trruely safe."

Kisha scowled a little but then let it go. She smiled slightly at Kay. "I would very much like that."

Kshathra's lips parted, as if he were going to say something..but all that came out was a light squeak. Kiryn had grabbed the boy demon by the back of the neck and lifted him a few inches from the ground. Pulling him back and away from Kay. The faery did not look happy at all. Kshathra struggled a bit, but didn't do anything to harm Kiryn. A look of annoyance on the young demon's face, it almost matched the annoyed look on Kiryn's face. Kiryn sighed lightly. "I'll not tolerate any trouble from you. Now. Come along. We're going this way and that is that!" He let Kshathra go for only a moment, so he could put his arm around that small waist and toss the boy over his shoulder as if he were a sack of grain.

"B-but...I wanna go with big sis!" Kshathra flailed a bit, his hands already reaching for the tattered bits of Kiryn's wings. Not to pull them..as the young demon didn't want to hurt the faery or this group of people. Especially the human. She was interesting. Those fingers barely moved along the outer edges of Kiryn's tattered wings. Sending a shiver down that faery's spine.

Kiryn growled lightly and shivered again. "She is NOT your sister." Already he was walking off down the path the dwarf had indicated for him to take. "You cannot bathe with a woman. You are a man it isn't proper...and...You are a demon. So I will not let you out of my sight at all, nor are you allowed to be alone with any of the females in this group." Kiryn was straining to keep the anger out of his voice, but not the mistrust. He wanted it clear that he did not trust this demon.

Kshathra only pouted a bit. "B-but..." With a sigh the demon boy was silent. Letting the faery carry him off.

Kisha couldn't help but grin when Kiryn took the demon away. She followed Kay to the hot springs. She imediately down down to her underclothes, keeping her belongings right next to the water and slid in. She was submerged completely immediately. When she came back up a few minutes later, she breathed a sigh of relief. "I feel so much better."

((Heheh. That is my punishment for doing too many roleplays at one time. C: ))

Cadynce's eyes went wide. "I'm too young to be eaten.." she mumbled, mostly to herself.
