Kay walked very carefully down the hall and stepped into the kitchen where she could see the yard from the window. All she could see from there though was Ceri, with blood on her arm.

((hehe I figured it was about time XD))
As Kay didn’t even notice her leaving Ceri released a sigh of relief. Now she could focus on what she was doing…not having to worry about any … interruptions. She didn’t want to have any more blood on her hands… least of all Kay’s.
Suddenly the dog like demon leaped forward, making a series of vicious barks and growls as it attempted to grab her in it’s jaws. Ceri sidestepped, a thin, strong blade arching out of the stone upon her wrist that now was glowing a pale blue. She focused on it, knowing that to kill it would require the holy blade’s strike but she had to strike where it’s heart would be….where a tiny crystal similar to the one hanging from her belly button would be…
She smiled to herself, watching as the creature hit the ground from its lunge. It looked up, suddenly seeing Lyre. It licked its jaws and then glanced up further, sniffing the air. Human blood… instantly that sent it into a frenzy, causing it to howl and move fast.. Heading for the window.

Kay watched horrified as a big black shaggy dog moved into view of the window. It had dark red eyes and was almost as big as Kay. "Lyre," she hissed. "What is that thing? Another shape shifter?" But then she saw a blade extend from Ceri's wrist and watched her try to parry it off. The dog creature started making terrible noises. So did Kay, the dog was coming straight towards her window. Kay had begun to hyperventilate, pending a scream. She kept the scream in the back of her throat though. Please dont see me, Please dont see me. I thought Kiryn said nothing here was super dangerous. I hope he had just said that because in the beginning he had no intentions of letting me leave the house.

He never let Kay leave his sight, when she got up to move through the house, Kiryn was only a few steps behind her. Violet eyes watching her carefully, intently. She had promised to behave, but sometimes humans could be tricksy. She might run off again and get herself injured or in worse trouble. A slight frown had tugged at his lips just slightly. Something about Ceri put him on edge, her mannerisms were a bit..deceitful..
When Kay began to hyperventilate infront of the window he knew something was wrong, that and he had this odd feeling creeping down his spine. His wings twitched and fluttered, he was quick on his feet. Very quickly he put himself between Kay and the window, eyes widening slightly at the sight of the demon like creature. Already he was drawing that gilded sword from it's sheath.

"What is that thing Kiryn? Please tell me?" Kay was tugging on his arm fairly frantically. She had no idea what was happening out in the yard. She had never seen an animal so large. And its eyes, were fixed on her....

Seeing Kay standing frozen at the window Ceri growled, tapping into the demon hidden within her own body and soul. Quickly she moved fast as the demon, leaping towards the demon. Her face in a grimace, her black hair flying, she looked much like a demoness herself. She landed and twirled on her heal, kicking her up foot upwards she caught the dog demon on the chin to send it flying backwards.
Though it whimpered in pain from being hit in the jaw it landed on its feet. It growled deeply as it’s claws bit into the earth, letting out more of the impossible growls and roars. Ceri tilted her head to look up at the two in the window, all her sarcasm and teasing nature gone… Her face a mask of stone. She yelled “Kry! Get her away from the damn window! Her blood frenzies the damn things” She then nodded at Kry, thankful he was there to protect Kay. Would he come out to help she wondered...

He hissed slightly when Kay tugged on his arm. His head turning slightly to look at her. "Get off..." Then Ceri was yelling something from outside, his head snapping back in the that direction to concentrate on what she was yelling. A slight nod and his attention was back on Kay for a moment. "Get out of sight and stay out of sight. Do NOT go outside. No matter what."
His sword fully drawn and he took a step forward, away from Kay. His wings twitched almost violently for a moment and then he vanished from in front of Kay..a bit of glittering purple and red fairy dust on the floor where his feet had been.
Kiryn reappeared outside, more of the fairy dust falling from his wings as he hovered above the demonic beast, his sword plunging down and into the monster's back. His teeth were grit and fire was in his purple eyes. He snarled at the creature as if he were a wild beast. "How dare you! How dare you intrude into an area I have put under my protection..How dare you attack the creatures I have put under my guardianship. How dare you set foot anywhere in the Queen's lands." He had pulled his sword out and stabbed the creature quickly and repeatedly, once for each sentance he spoke. Finally pulling his sword from the creature a final time and landing behind it, in a defensive stance.

Kiryn snapping at kay to let go of him was all that was needed to snap her out of it. She did exactly as he told her. She ran back into the room that had Myra in it and scooped up a disgruntled sleeping kitten, and kept going. Further back into the house she went. If she had not been competely terrified she would have marvelled at how spacious it was compared to how it looked from the outside. She came to a room off a side hall that had no windows or outside doors. She croutched in there and closed the door. From there she could barely hear the sounds of battle from outside. But even after all had grown quiet she didnt dare leave that room till one of her friends came to get her... if any of her friends were still left..... that big dog had looked very strong, and very hungry. Kay could still see its eyes every time she closed hers.

Ceri shivered almost invisibly as she looked away from the two… her own blood coursing now with almost blood lust from the demonic influence. She ignored it, as the demon within fell into it’s own frenzy, focusing purely on the demon that was now attacking them all. She had hoped that it would not be able to find her here… Oh well.
She stepped forward to attack, her own eyes glittering with a strange energy when Kry was on the demons back. She watched as he stabbed it repeatedly, hearing the beast howl in pain. She knew without the holy energy she used it would not die but it would still be weakened and feel the pain…
Accordingly it fell slightly forward, howling in pain and trying to snap back at kry until he hopped away. Fury in its eyes it stood, bleeding from the wounds a strange black steam as if it were blood. It was limping slightly as it turned on him, striking out with a paw towards Kiryn. Ceri nodded to herself, calling to Kry. “It’s claws and teeth are poison…I need to stab its heart…” Frowning as she did so. Being ….infected with the demon she was immune, another hint for Kry but he needed to knwo for everyone to stay safe… he already seemed to suspect her…Oh well… she was use to being hated and thought of as evil….
((Note: the poison in question does have an easily accesable cure if you get hit. I don't think you would, Your character seems powerful <3, buuuut thought I ought to let you know))

"Glad we didnt leave yet Myra," she said petting the little kitten, "I hear shouting, but I still hear that thing too. Best to just stay put for now." It wasnt that Kay was trying to convince the kitten, so much as keep her self sane. She wanted to help her new friends, but she had already seen how nieve she was about things in this world, and Kiryn had made it quite clear she would only be in the way.

The demon was poisonous, but Ceri needed to stab it's heart. A look of fierce anger and determination was on the fairy's face, as his eyes remained on the demon. Not looking to Ceri when she spoke, but only because his attention needed to be elsewhere. Then those purple eyes closed tightly and he moved forward, into those swiping claws, bringing his sword straight down into the demons skull with enough force to send the sword all the way through it's head and bring it too the ground, the sword biting into the ground as well.
For a few moments, at least, the demon would be trapped. Those eyes glinting from a mixture of emotions. "Now then, before it breaks free." All his weight was on the sword, pushing down a bit further into demon's skull and ground. The thing struggled mightily and he wasn't sure how long he could hold it there. However, Kiryn had moved a bit too soon, those claws had cut him, not deep but still they had torn his clothing and scratched his flesh. He could already feel the poison moving through his body.

Kiryn…” Ceri mumbled to herself as he pretty much stepped into the poison. Part of her called him a fool… the other brave… but she did not have time to think more about it. She simply darted forward, rolling into a crouch by Kiryn’s feet. Why she choose to crouch would become clear as she stabbed the blade upwards, the holy energy making the demon cry out in pain, Ceri’s face showing a similar pain as a small crystal within it split in two…
One red half fell to each side of the blade, slowly turning black. If put together it would be the same size, shape, and color as the one on the silver ring piercing Ceri’s belly button. Slowly the demon began to disappear in black steam, ceri falling forward to lean on one arm a moment. She felt the holy blade scalding her wrist due to the demon within but simply closed her eyes and forced no emotion to appear on her face, “My bag inside… there’s a box of leaves blessed by light… we need to boil you some tea from them… It will cure the poison but you’ll still feel ill and weak for the rest of the night.”
Ceri then opened her eyes, looking up at Kiryn. She was unable to desummon the blade as then he would see the red, blistered skin it was creating beneath the holy stone upon her wrist, so simply stayed there a moment. “That… was very stupid…” She said in a hard voice, pointing to where he’d been scratched. Slowly she stood, letting the blade disappear into the stone though keeping the armor to hide the burns . Her face was passive…a perfect statue, but there was a slight pain in her eyes and they lacked her usual intensity.

It was alright, because Kiryn was mentally scolding himself. His main attention on the battle at hand though. Ceri was quick, and he was thankful for that, she had stabbed it hard and fast and now the fairy leaned on his sword heavily, panting slightly from the effort. His eyes on the witch as he watched her closely. She was saying something about a bag, but he was only half listening.
He gripped his sword very tightly with one hand, leaning against it..With his other he reached out for her, as if he were reaching for her...that hand suddenly dropped and he shook his head slightly. "Stupid, but necessary as far as I'm concerned.." There was pain in her eyes, it wasn't hard for him to see it. "Are you injured?" Concern laced the edges of his voice and flashed in his eyes for a moment. Slowly he straightened, pulling his sword from the ground and sheathing it. His wings twitched and fluttered, helping him keep his balance. He already felt weak, and as if his veins were on fire, but he hid his pain very well.

Ceri simply gazed at him a moment, her eyes flat. The demon’s desires were pounding in her ears but the sarcastic statue merely stood to her full height and looked to the ground. Poisoned… it would be so easy to knock him over, or so the demon whispered to her. Her answer was to hiss back ‘Oh shut up…’
She then spoke, “I’m fine…” Her tone flat…final… leaving no room for questions. “You’re the one who’s poisoned… do you need help inside or do you think you can make it…?” She asked it absently, her mind focused mainly on controlling the demonic urges coursing like fire through her blood. Perhaps she could get Kay to make the tea… with her minor arm injury, burns, and blood lust still strong she didn’t feel up to being in the same room with a human……the demons favorite meal.

Kay couldnt stand not knowing the fate of her friends any longer, Screw my safety she thought. She left the kitten in the closet and headed towards the front door. She was releived to see that her friends were all still standing, but she noticed the expression of pain on Ceri's face and saw how heavily Kiryn leaned on his own sword. Kay ran out the door. "What happened? Are you two ok?" As she approached the two, she saw Kiryn stand a little straighter and watched as his face became quite smooth again. Now I know something is wrong. And he is trying to hide it. Ceri is hiding something too. But her eyes give her away. Kay approached with more caution and stopped a few yards from them.
"Are you too ok? Ceri you are bleeding. So are you Kiryn..."

Kiryn stiffened a bit when Kay burst out the door, his expression becoming even more stern. "I told you to stay out of sight..." He could've said more, he would have said more but his strength was leaving him..a bit more rapidly than he had expected. His eyes drifted to Ceri. "I would have words with you later, privately. For now..just make sure I don't fall down." Those wings twitched and fluttered a bit as he moved towards the door. His movements slow, a bit uncertain and almost sluggish..Not like him at all. "...Kay...we're going inside now.."

Kay watched as he walked past her towards the door. She hurried up behind him and took him by the elbow gently. "Let me help," she said softly. Well I tried to stay put, too bad he doesnt see I was only concerned for him and Ceri. Guy really knows how to make a girl feel bad.... Kay got him as far as the porch, but the steps were only wide enough for one person at a time... "You better go ahead of me" Kay told him. "You look like you are ready to fall over."

Ceri nearly hissed as Kay grew so close but simply looked away. “Help Kiryn in… He’s poisoned, I need to go make the cure…” She answered, her voice hard edged. She didn’t look at Kay as she passed but one of her hands was curled into a fist. The elf held her breath, not wanting to get Kay’s scent… this was hard enough without that.
As he spoke of speaking to her privately Ceri simply let her eyes narrow on his. “I don’t see what we have to discuss, kay… make sure he doesn’t fall…” She responded simply, shrugging her shoulders. She then turned and walked past both of them to the door, grabbing her bag and taking it to the kitchen. She would get out a blue bag with leaves in it and a pair of fingerless black gloves to hide her wrist. The burn would be around for a day or two… it always did.

Kay understood Kiryns bad mood, he was hurt, But Ceri had always seemed chipper despite circumstances. Her temper now seemed quite out of place and made Kay even more warry of her than before. She is like a firecracker with a short fuse, that or fighting big black mutts is harder for her than I would have guessed. Kay was still waiting for Kiryn to go up the stairs. She would have gone ahead, since he apparently liked to always keep her in his sight, but she was afraid he might fall trying to go up, and she didnt want his head to get busted open too.

He was a bit thankful when Kay took him by the elbow, her help wasn't completely unwelcome. For a moment, his eyes had drifted back to Ceri, watching her carefully. When she remarked about not having anything to discuss with him, he shrugged lightly. "Perhaps.." He had paused at the steps, letting Ceri go in ahead of them. His wings twitched with irritation and he grit his teeth a bit. It was slow, but he managed to make it up the steps without falling, the twitching of his wings helped him keep his balance somewhat.
Once inside the dwelling and with Kay's help he moved to the room with the cushions and sat down on one of them, leaning back against the wall, his wings positioned completely flat against the wall so as he leaned back they didn't get crumpled or crushed. He closed his eyes and grit his teeth. His body felt like it was on fire and he was panting slightly just from walking into the dwelling.

Ceri kept her control tightly, still appearing as a statue though she didn’t seem as tense. She put the tea on to boil, letting the armor disappear back into the cross chocker around her neck. She hissed slightly as she pulled on the black glove over her wrist which looked like somebody had taken a hot iron to it in the exact shape of the pale blue stone that had earlier shimmered on it. It hurt to pull on the glove but it was easier then having to explain a strange burn.
She pushed up the ripped sleeve that had replaced the armor, wrapping a bandage around the bleeding puncture so it would stop bleeding. It would make it heal faster, though not as fast as Lyre’s healing would have… but she couldn’t bother with that. She hurried along the tea as best she could and within a few moments had a cup for Kiryn. She entered the room, holding it out to him with her unwounded arm with her other hand in her pocket….curled into a fist as she held tightly onto her control of the demon. “Drink this… It will cleanse the poison. “ She said simply, inwardly annoyed. She was weakened… this was not the time to be so close to a human… or a weakened Kiryn which was looking equally delicious as Kay…

When Ceri approached him with the tea, he opened his eyes, pinning her with a very intense stare. There was something behind her eyes, as if something else were inside her body as well, and that was the thing that worried him about her. "Thank you.." He reached out to take the cup from her, with both hands.
He kept his eyes on Ceri, even as he brought the cup to his lips. Drinking the hot liquid, letting it slide down his throat, never mind that it was still very hot. That didn't seem to bother him very much. He had downed almost half the cup already, even though his instinct told him he should probably drink it a bit more slowly than that. He lowered the cup.
"There's another person in your eyes.." Afterall, eyes were the windows to the soul.

The second he took the cup her hand disappeared into her free pocket, so both now were curled within there. She kept her façade on well, even managing to smirk as he gave her an intense enough gaze that it easily rivaled her own. Ceri thought it wiser to walk out, but didn’t want to arouse his suspicion further… Instead she merely tilted her head to the side, twitching one pointed ear. As he spoke she managed one of her velvety chuckles, her eyes returning his look unflinchingly. “.. I’m a witch, all witch’s have many faces..” Was her cryptic answer.

He had brought that cup back to his lips drinking a bit more of the tea before lowering it again. "Aa...Witches have many false faces, they wear hollow masks. The other person I see inside your eyes is no mask or false face." He paused for a moment, shrugging slightly. "Be mindful of yourself." That cup of tea was brought back to his lips and finished off..then he set the empty cup on the floor next to him. Closing his eyes again. "I would be your ally, if only you allow it. You distance yourself from others and hide your true feelings behind a mask in hopes of hiding this other part of you.." His voice trailed off, it seemed he was falling asleep.

Ceri answered only with a shrug, saying just “so sure of yourself… But you don‘t want to be my ally…trust me on that…” It could have been teasing, or genuine, it really didn’t matter. She simply walked away then to a window, leaning against the wall and letting her cheek against the cool glass. She had to watch them in case a demon came again but the demon inside her… it stirred such desires in her that she could not stand to be so close to another living thing right now. She closed her eyes, she’d always hidden her self, even back as a child before the demon… to protect…always to protect.
