Her face darkened in terms of the blush that had devoured her cheeks, but her lips stayed in the gentle smile from before. "I'm happy 'bout it too, really. It feels really nice, somehow... You know?"

"Yes I know what you mean." His smile never faded, "It's like a blooming happiness inside of me..." he trailed off not knowing what else it could resemble. "Would you still like to go to the kitchen to snack?"

Her stomach grumbled. "I'd say no, but my stomach clearly wants something to eat." She looked to him curiously. "What should we have? Any ideas of something you'd be willing to share with me?"

Drake laughed lightly and held her hand, "I'd be willing to share anything with you." He thought for a moment, "Anything you're craving?"

"Not really. To me, food's food. I just like food in general." She giggled a bit, smiling. "Maybe I'll take an apple 'cause it's nice and simple. I don't think right now i'm patient enough to cook."

"Alright, An apple it is." He grabbed two, one for himself and one for Chloe, "Red or green?" He laughed as he threw them up in the air then caught them smiling.

She watched him throwing the apples up and catching them, causing her to clap. "Well, aren't you quite the talented one?" She giggled, smiling. "Whichever one you don't want's fine with me. Just choose which one you like better."

Drake bowed, "Thank you." He thought for a moment, "Green, the red ones are sweet, since your so sweet you get the sweet one." He winked playfully and took a bite of his apple as he gently tossed the red apple to Chloe. "Catch"

"Actually, I tend to feel you're the sweet one, but..." She shrugged it off, taking a bite after just barely catching it. "I'm fine with any, as I said. I'm lucky I caught it though. I'm more of a runner then a catcher."

"Ah. I apoligize then for throwing the apple to you, next time I'll give it to you." He took another bite of his apple and smiled at Chloe.

Her smile curled upward a little more as she held it out on a side she hadn't bitten. "Can I try some of the green apple too? You can try some of this one too, if you want."

"Sure." He went in for a bite to the red apple and held a clean spot on the green apple to Chloe's mouth for her to take a bite. He took a bite of the red apple, "Delicious."

She giggled, smiling as she took a bite as well. "Thank you. I love how every apple has a different type of flavor. It makes cooking with it really interesting." She held back the apple she'd taken a tiny bite from back to him. "Thank you for the taste."

"Mhm, I bet it is,I'd say is, but I'm not much of a cooker." He laughed a little, "My dad use to refuse to let me in the kitchen because I liked touching stuff, hot stuff, so I never really got to enjoy being in the kitchen and using foods to make other foods." He smiled at her, "But, you do it amazingly." Drake took his finger and tapped her chin lightly.

"I've been cooking since I was small when I started working at the bakery. Though Mister Richard hated me doing it since I always forgot an oven mitt when I was using the oven while it was hot, so I can relate a bit." She thought for a moment. "If you want, I can help you cook sometimes so you can try enjoying it yourself some more."

"Ouch." Drake said and took her hand in his, kissing it gently. "That would be wonderful if you could teach me to cook, I would greatly appreciate it." Smiling, he threw his apple core into the garbage, his smile faded as the apple completely missed the garbage can and he went over to pick it up.

Chloe laughed a bit when the apple bit came into play, though her face was never going to die down in color, she'd decided. Finishing up her own apple, she rolled over and put it in the trash, not wanting to bother fighting her horrible throwing skills. "Let me know when you want a lesson and what you wanna make then, 'kay? My specialty is pastries since I learn most of my stuff at the bakery, but I can do other stuff too usually."

"Okay then...." Drake started thinking about what he would like to bake, "Pastries sound good, but I'll have to think on what to bake for a little while." he nodded and pulled a chair up to sit by Chloe, "What would you like to do today, missy?" he poked her noise lightly.

She laughed as she caught his hand soon after, kissing the finger that had poked her nose in a gentle manner. She then let it go, smiling up to him as he was still taller than her, even when sitting. "I don't know. What would you like to do, sir?"

Drake smiled when Chloe kissed his finger,"I'm not exactly sure what I want to do,I'm up for anything as long as it's with you." he kissed her cheek lightly.

Chloe let out a soft giggle, smiling in return. "That means we both are basically at a standstill with what to do then, huh?"

"Yes. We are.Hm, what to do now?" He smiled at her.

She laughed a bit. "Not sure. Isn't that the problem?" Looking around a bit, she thought for a moment. "Wanna go outside to rest for a while?"

"Sure. Let's go." He stood up, moved the chair out of the way and held his hand out for Chloe.

She shook her head, laughing nervously. "Unfortunately, I need two hands to drive this thing." A simple smiled played her lips as she nodded, holding onto each side of her wheelchair to wheel next to him. "Let's go then?"
