"I know you look like something," Zachary replied, "I'm not sure if I would call it all that good though." He smirked, walked with her out the door of the huge mansion. It might as well have been a palace in his opinion, being as big as it was. That is probably why Valentine never sees us, he thought. As for where to go... "I say we go for some French food then," he answered, "I'm not really sure where to head specifically though. I'm not exactly educated in fine dining like you."

Despite the regular trips that the two of them often made he didn't really pay much attention to the traditions and mannerisms of the elite in society, identifying himself more with the bourgeoise minus owning capital and land. In his younger years he had never eaten in a restaurant, but rather at home. Closing the door behind her, he looked around for where to go, chewing on his lower lip.

Sophie only scoffed before she lightly smacked Zach in his chest as they left the courtyard altogether. "Would you rather me go around in nothing then?" she asked then rolled her eyes as they walked on. His suggestion of French food did strike a nerve with her as she hadn't had some in forever. The wine was exquisite as well, meaning: "Yes, cause I'm starving for some noodles...and wine.." Sophie surpressed a squeal at the thought of how relaxed and loose she was once she was able to be herself, with the help of a bottle of wine of course.

"Well I wouldn't mind it," Zachary replied with a smirk. Continuing to walk, he nodded, glancing over at her expression. She seemed rather happy at his suggestion for French cuisine which actually made him happy that they were on the same page. "So you have a place in mind?" Personally he was more in the mood for bouillabaisse, but he wanted some wine too. Leading the way, he took the time to absorb the surroundings which included the shrubs, flowers, and cobblestone path that lead away from Sophie's home.

"Of course you wouldn't, my father might say otherwise though.." With another roll of the eyes towards him, Sophie remembered that cafe she had been with him before on the corner. A ten minute walk from where they were. "To Le Café Rouge, then?" she asked him, seeing some clouds ahead. She wondered if it would rain or not, the rain always made her depressed for some reason. Sophie shook off the thought as she wanted to just enjoy herself, even if it'd do so. Whatever, she'd probably be too drunk to even care by then.

"Oh I don't know. I'd like to think that I'm more suitable than any other man you've had thrown at you," Zachary said with a shrug, "plus I doubt that you wouldn't want to see me the same way." He was being a little bit conceited, but it was in somewhat of a good nature. Looking up at the sky, he noticed clouds roll up ahead, perhaps a sign of rain which he didn't mind all that much. Still, he probably should have brought an umbrella, lest one of he get a cold of some sort. His grandmother had died of the fever after all and he didn't want a repeat of that. "Sounds ace," he answered, having been there before. It was a nice place, akin to their namesake as it was decorated in shades of red, burgundy, and vermilion. It might as well have been a restaurant, but the building it was in was smaller and even some of the second estate could eat there.

Sophie could only agree with Zach's statement -well, the one about her failed hookups and his comparison anyway. "Well, I wouldn't mind it," she reiterated toward him as they walked along. "Though I have to ask, suitable for me in what way?" It was quite the thought that he brought up, she was just curious to know how he came to this conclusion. Another look up towards the sky and Sophie saw that it was bound to rain sooner or later.

Nice, she was using his own words against him. "Suitable in the sense that I've survived with you longer than any other butler or suitor," Zachary replied. He hadn't been working for the girl for very long, just about a year but knew of her past with men. She had been able to choose the beau of her choice, but so far had no luck. Noticing that like him, Sophie was also looking at the sky Zachary decided he wondered if she was thinking the same thing about the possibility of rain occurring.

"Now what if I chose you as my suitor?" Sophie joked (or at least, half-joked) to him. He did have a point in how long they've been together, in terms of both butler and friendship. He wasn't afraid to show his emotions like the others, she remembered one that was afraid to even kiss her in public because of how strict her father was. The mere thought of that two month relationship only made her face redden with slight fury. Sophie had let her stray thoughts get to her, and she only sighed before continuing on. "Though, there would be father nagging at me for choosing 'the help' as a suitable mate..." she told Zach, with air quotes.

Zachary laughed. "I'd probably reject you," he admitted truthfully, "I am a mere man after all. I don't want to be tied down to one woman at this age." He was faking being dramatic, but there was some truth in his statement. He was young (sort of) after all, he still had some youth within himself. "What does your father not nag about?" he asked as they arrived at the cafe, "it seems to be all he does." Opening the door, he waited for her to go through before heading inside himself. The inside was extravagant and well, red. Not only the curtains but the tablecloths, chairs, and hell, even the carpet that lined the floors were red. If it weren't for the windows among other small things Zachary would have thought he walked into a pool of blood.

Rosaline knew what the boy was feeling, for she felt the very same way at that moment. The book that she had just found called to her; it beckoned for her to open it wordlessly. She wanted to open it. Her fingers itched to trace over the pages that were overflowing with words (or she figured they would be, since the book was so thick). Snapping out of her thoughts, Rosaline returned the smile. The boy really was a kind fellow. She did not want to seem like she was shooing him away. That would go against the manners her parents had taught her. Instead, she shook her head.

“No, sir, I so not want you to leave… But—this is private property, and I would rather you not get into trouble for being here. My father does hate when people come onto his estate without his permission.” A look of worry crossed her angelic features. If her father found the man, he might end up lynched from a tree with the poachers. That thought did not settle well in her head. She frowned.

A drop of rain splattered on her cheek, causing her to look up at the darkening sky. “Oh, dear…It’s raining,” she stated, turning to the man with a frown. “I should be heading back home, lest nanny scold me for dilly-dallying in the rain. It was a pleasure meeting you, sir, but I must bid you farewell. A revoir!”

With that, she scooped up her things, along with the book, and sprinted through the woods. The droplets started to fall down heavier as she ran, but she managed to get into her house before the rain started to fall in thick blankets across the land.

((Ahhhh…I’m a little preoccupied with something at the moment. I’m going through the profiles being sent to me. ^^: Sorry for the delay.))

"Oh right, the player type," Sophie chuckled, "I forgot who I was talking to.." she walked in ahead of him, greeted by a clerk to which she asked for a private booth for two. It wasn't long before they were seated on the upper floor in the bloody setting, something she hadn't minded all that much. They were near a window and she managed to see a bit of drizzle start to blow against it. Yeah, it was beginning to rain. "Bring us a bottle of wine, yeah?" Sophie told the waiter as he ran off, leaving the two once more. She only as she continued to stare out the window, slightly saddened that she didn't bring an umbrella.

Christian watched her go and smirked, he had a feeling that this was private property. A place like this, with so many trees that haven't been tainted could only belong to a forest that was hardly ever travled or by a private property. But if her father found him then let that be his fate. He didn't fear anyone or anything, he always felt as if nothing could faze him just like a stone.

But as the rain fell he couldn't help but smile, it felt refreashing. He then started to make his way to the mountains and listen to all the sounds around him. It was nice and he felt like he could walk forever. As he drew nearer to the mountains he slipped on some mud and did a face plant into the dirt. It felt nice and for a second he felt like makeing a mud angel. But he decided agenst it and got up. The rain washed off the mud as he walked and he soon came to a rock wall. It was huge and he could do nothing about it. But this was where he felt it coming form. The pull.

He looked at it curiously and he gently put his hand on the wall. Just then it seemed to explode and send a earthquake threw the wold. But it stoped after a few second and he found a book in his hands. He didn't know why he had it but he liked the feel of it in his hands, it felt like he found something he had been looking for.

But as he stared at it it began to rain harder and he knew that he had to find shelter and the nearest place was probably the house of the land owners. Well he might as well get killed now rather then later. So he set off towards the house with the book in his hands and dripping wet with rain and mud.

((hey puppet, dont forget about our private Rp))

"And don't you forget it," Zachary said, smugly. Following her up to the second floor, he took a seat near the window where water rained down from the bleak skies. Usually weather like this would bring people down, but personally it was fun to dance in the rain once you got a little drunk. "Just wine, no hard liquor?" he asked jokingly. Where one waiter had left, a waitress came over with a pad, fountain pen, and two menus. "When you're ready I'll take your order," she said cheerily. Having given one of the menus he glanced over the cafe's selection of food.

It didn't take long before zach was already asking for something a bit more stronger than wine. "Well what about..." she opened and skimmed the liquor menu before coming to a decision on, "..a bottle of rum?" she nodded towards the waitress and deciding on some French bread and beef bouriginon (sp). By the time it started raining, Sophie got an overwhelming feeling of sorrow as she looked out the window then shook her head to rid herself of the random tears that developed in her eyes. Where is this coming from.. she thought to herself, using a napkin to hide the flowing droplets from her face.

Christian soon got to the private road to the house and smiled. He liked the feeling of the rock road under him and continued to walk. The rain was still pelting him like no tomorrow but it wasn't as bad as before and he soon found himself listening to everything around him. He was listening to the music around him and it sounded heavenly, he loved the sound of nature and all of its beauty, it was like heaven on earth.

He soon found himself taking out his violin and playing with nature. It was beauitufll and he continued to walk down to the private house. He soon got to it and stopped playing. he hoped that the people wouldn't mind him asking to stay, but if they said no he would just move on to the next house. He had been shooed away more then once and knew that not everyone liked to house someone like him in there house.

He then knocked on the door and waited for a reply. He knew that he would get to see that girl again and he remembered that they hadn't exchanged names. Well now he would get to and he could also play more and also read his new book. Right when he thought of the book he wanted to read it right away. His fingers itched to turn the pages and for his eyes to drink in the words that where writen on these pages.

He had to wait thought for if he did that now he knew that he wouldn't move from this spot. He needed to get into some place dry and soon since he could feel that his clothing was starting to stick to his skin with all the water in the clothing.

"Perfect," Zach agreed as the waitress wrote down Sophie's order. "I'll have a bowl of bouillabaisse and," he paused for a moment, "and coq au vin." He gave back the menu to the waitress after she wrote all of it down. "It'll be ready momentarily." She marched away towards the kitchen, leaving the two alone. What is she looking at? He had seen her staring out at the window with a somber appearance on her face. At first he thought it was the weather, but seeing her raise a napkin to dab her face, it made him think that there was something more to it. It didn't really take a genius to put two and two together. "Aye something wrong waterworks?" he asked.

Sophie was glad that the waitress had left them alone; she didn't want to cause a scene. She looked slightly confused when Zach questioned her feelings and actions. "Uh, what now?" the silver haired girl asked as the remainder of her face dried up. "I'm sorry, it was nothing.." she trailed off as she sighed once more. Where the hell was that waitress at with the drinks, she needed a few glasses right about now. "I wish we had an umbrella though," Sophie thought aloud as she looked back out the window. There was something out there that seemed to hold her attention though.

"We wait obviously," Zachary said, watching her dry her tears. Then again someone waited on hand and foot wouldn't really know that feeling. Being someone who grew up in poorer home, he had to work for pretty much everything which strongly contrasted Sophie's lifestyle where her money was handed to her via her parents and anyone else in her family. "Mhm, sure," he murmured, not wanting to press for answers. "Mm, God forbid one of your two hundred dresses get a bit wet," he quipped as he stared at his empty wine glass.

It didn't take as long as Sophie thought it was for the wine and rum to arrive. She thanked the waitress as she poured her a glass of wine as well as Zachary too. The waitress nodded before she went back off to check on the food. "Well, we got our liquor," she shrugged and downed her first glass. "Oh, did you want a cheers or something?" Sophie asked before clearing her throat, it was tradition in her family that they do so before every meal. She just didn't know if it was Zach's style or not...

"Thanks," Zachary said as he drank it without much hesitation. "Does it really matter?" It didn't matter much whether or not they wanted to clang glasses before drinking. To him it was more or less a tradition reserved for formal meals (well this was sort of formal) with bigger company. In a small group of two he didn't deem it necessary. He poured himself another glass before glancing at Sophie's. "You want a refill?" he asked.

Sophie had to remember who she was talking to, her nodding to him offering her another drink. "Trying to get me loaded already?" the girl joked, nonetheless she took a hearty drink and it left her with a small portion left in her glass. She did have to wonder when the food was coming, it wasn't good to drink on an empty stomach, or so her father scolded her about. As if her prayers were answered, the waitress came back with both people's food and placed it front of them with a small grin. "Anything else you need, just let me know," she chirped then turned on her heel to leave.

"No, you can already do that by yourself," Zachary replied, pouring her a cup before setting down the wine bottle. He was getting hungry though and if the food didn't come he would drink even more and that would be a bad idea. Thankfully he didn't have to do that as the waitress from earlier came back with their orders before leading. He took his fork and knife, starting to dig into the coq au vin. As opposed to how he would eat during a formal dinner where he would be more restrained, here he was sort of wolfing down the meal.

The heiress only rolled her eyes at the boy across from her; he knew her too well. Once the food was placed in front of Sophie, she began to eat though she could only gaze curiously at Zach's way of eating. Was he really that starved? If so, maybe he shouldn't have had those glasses of wine after all.. "Hey, slow down before everything comes back up.." she told him, her twirling some pasta before eating that with a slice of fresh bread. She downed the remainder of her wine to wash down the food, and poured herself another half glass full. Though, she was craving water more as the wine grew too sweet and bitter for her liking.
