HIM didn't get distracted.

HIM wouldn't be a good protector HIM's old and decrepid.

HIM just needs to make sure Star doesn't get tackled, pounced, or glomped

HIM'll try HIM can't gartentee anything. And that includes lose/theft of personal items. All items are left at owners risk, damage to property is the owners responicility even if it is caused by HIM.
