Avg is doing it's job. Norton is also good...

It seems that progammers have been bored. My pc is infected as well...
Some trojanhorse got in. Very nice.

HIM's got AVG and Ad-Aware to go with HIM's Norton.

Norton and avg are the worst ones in my opinion.
Well avg is good for non regular pc users, it protects against basic stuff but anything complicated and it slips right past.
Norton was good at one point, but sorta went down hill and wasn't worth what you were paying.

Windows anti virus, kaspersky and virgin media are good.

Norton takes up so much space on the computer
I've got AGV the free version and ZoneAlarm

This is the first thing that's happened to my computer since we've switched from Norton

Windows needs to keep their paws off the virus scanners, honsetly..

Besides, Anti virus programs aren't 'protecting' your computer, they just swipe stuff off it, when they find it.

We use AVG in most place part from big companys they seem to be doing what they suppose to :P and Norton is pretty good as well

Kaspersky is not bad I tried ones lol

Valo: norton wanted to do constant checks on mine, which was good in a way but it slowed down the whole computer to an almost unusable level and kept needing restart. And it wasn't finding any virus'.
I'm on virgin media's free anti virus and apart from taking a bit longer to start up it's perfect, scans are background so you don't even know it's running.

Ace: yeah, we use it at school, and it's perfect for pre restricted internet. But not for people like me.

In all honesty, I'm fine with what I have, for the most part, it's doing it's job
And it's free

My Mum's had her paypal hacked...

Other than that, not much has gone wrong with my family at computers recently

I haven't got a virus in about 2 years : )

She's sent an inquiry about it and has changed all her details
