Star I am only not sleeping tonight because I have to go to the job center tomorrow. They didn't pay me because they messed up. I tried sorting it out over the phone today. I waited to 5ish to be told the same thing the first person i rang told me. I was like. "Well he said he would e-mail the job center for me and get the information sent to the payment department." Turns out the office were the payments are authorized from never received the information for the first office.

Anyway i now have to go down there, to be told I have to phone the number i called today because they don't deal with that in their office. Its stupid the way they have the same department split between different offices in different building that don't talk to each other.

Did Jeanie have the same issus? I haven't really spoken to her much lately. Wouldn't surprise me if they did, they tend to make mistakes. One of their favorite things is setting up an interview you must attend. Not sending a letter to inform you and then shutting you're claim down because you never showed up.

Job center like to fuck you about because it's keeping them in a job.

Well that's the problem with Labour and how they deiced to deal with unemployment during their time in charge. They created more offices and more jobs by splitting down department and creating more. For example, when you use to start a benefit claim you did it in the office. You filled in one form and it was done.

They changed this however, now if you want to create a new account you have to contact someone in a call center. You fill in the application form with that person and you have you're details checked. They then send that form to an adviser and you're given an interview to go over the form you originally did over the telephone. Then are sent away and told if you're claims been accepted.

The step of filling the form on view the telephone is complete useless and simply not needed. Its an extra step that slows down the process for the soul purpose of employing one extra person. All it really achieves is communication problems between department making it harder for customers. This is become no one knows whats happening in this office 100's of miles away.

Thats the type of public sector job the government want to do away with. It waste money and time and their is just no point. Of course Labour and the work unions will disagree.
