I don't know what he's done, he's hurt himself before and come home covered in oil with ripped out claws. He's been outside most of the day and was later than usual comin home.

Sounds like someone's been fighting. That's what Spider did when he had a fight with something.

He usually runs away from fights that aren't with the ones we have but the cat we assume to be his father (it hangs around a lot and was around ours yowlin a lot just before the cat got preggers with Taffy's litter) has been chasing after him recently, usually Taffy runs away from him though.

Cats normally go and mope if they lose a fight or if they've had the squits.

He doesn't usually mope that much. I'll just leave him and check on him later he doesn't have any like open wounds or anything.
