Thanks Yiyi. I still have two bars of white cooking chocolate from when it was on offer.
I think Penelope Cruz's character looks interesting.

Star wants to see it
though Star thinks that they're going a bit too far with PotC at the moment.
though they've gone overboard with Johnny's "black eyes" from the trailers i've seen...
They're too heavily blacked up in my opinion

Ah, so much jelly that Jeanie can drive. I think I'm going to try and get my permit tomorrow.
Penelope Cruz reminds me a bit of Keira Knightley--it might be their facial features. Speaking of which, did you guys see Keira Knightley in the new Coco Chanel Mademoiselle ad? She was so oh my freaking god pretty (I have a girl crush on her, in case you guys couldn't tell)
And Star, considering Johnny Depp is legit the only guy who can pull off eyeliner in my opinion, I'm not complaining. And I do agree that the fourth PotC appears to just be another way for them to wring more money out of the series, but it's another hour and a half of Jack Sparrow. Pass the rum!

To be honest I didn't think much of the last film so I'm glad they're going in a new direction. My friend is unsure whether or not she's bothered enough to see it. If she is I'll go with her but if not I'll wait and see what other people think.

My friends are preparing for the fourth movie by re-watching the first three. In my opinion, the first one was definitely the best one. Sequels never seem to be able to match up to their originals. And I like how they're incorporating the Fountain of Youth in the fourth one--so it's not totally random.

O_O I've never watched LotR before, but I understand it's very very long, so that's impressive, lol! And yes Star, without Johnny Depp there is no PotC. Although Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley were so much love. And Geoffrey Rush is just funny and a good actor. :squee:

I looked it up and the extended running time for the LotR trilogy is 683 minutes. I think he said, with breaks, it took them pretty much the entire day.
I'm looking forward to The Hobbit.

Wowzas, that's ridiculous. I've never read any of the books either, so LotR has never caught my eye much. I have friends who are absolutely obsessed with it though.

Star doesn't really like Keira knightly...
Orlando Bloom didn't really do much for me either
Star just Depp-Obsessed :P
It was only ever Johnny that made me laugh anyway

She's too thin and her face is too square and she acts like she's the best thing to hit the earth since goodness knows what...
I'm not too fond of her myself...
it's just odd to see her in those low cut dresses and there to be no boob, just visable ribs

I don't get why celebrities can't just smile. I Googled Keira Knightley and she looks so much prettier when she smiles rather than pouts or pulls other silly faces stars seem to think are 'sexy'.

It makes me want to hang around outside film premières shouting "Cheer up love, it might never happen!".

Ah, but I think Knightley's bone structure is amazingly gorgeous.
What amazes me about Depp is how he can pull off so many characters. From Willy Wonka to Edward Scissorhands to Jack Sparrow. He looks different everytime, but still manages to pull off the character prefectly.
