Heh, I've had Steam for a while. The only trouble I've had with it is that if it hasn't been open for a while it wants to download all the updates before letting me do anything which can take a while.

I'm sure if you Google your problems there'll be a fix out there.

I think it might have something to do with "Select your internet speed"
