I joined it about a year ago
It gives you all the information you need on BJDs, and it's also got a Market place, which you gain access to after posting a certain number of time and/or being a member for a certain length of time.
It's got members from all over the world, People organise meet ups for dolly people (I often go to the London one, but I also go to the Oxford meets when they're held)
You don't need a doll to join, if you're planning on getting one at some point, it's a good resource to use, especially if you're low on money as people tend to sell clothing, eyes, wigs, dolls etc. for lower prices than the company at times.
Though I recommend getting your first doll with a Face up, it's often cheaper, and so much easier if you get the company to paint their face, rather than getting your doll, just to ship the head off instantly to someone else to give them a face up, or try it yourself...

late reaction: School's being a huge jerk, that's what's happening.
Yesterday they mailed us the schedule of the re-assessments... I did not know we had one.
And today they told us that our DVD with our animation was due last Monday...We did not get ANY information WHAT so FREAKING EVER
