~hugs HIM~
I know, probably, it's just some of the girls there were saying how cool and awesome my art was so I was thinking I maybe had a chance, and No. I didn't
They didn't even give me a reason why
~sniffles~It's just there are so many things I'd like to leard to do
I'd like to learn to Make art on the computer with a Drawing Tablet
I'd like to learn to use Flash and make animations
I'd like to learn to take proper photograps
I'd like to learn to Sew

It's just Argh!
Maybe they just didn't like "my style" of art work.
which is annoying because aren't artists supposed to be open minded about things like that?

*Hugs* They should be more open minded but then again there are always going to be people who don't like certain types of art.

Alot of things you can do on your own it's just trial and error. Sewing is easy it just takes practice, I started off doing cross stictch pictures then went on from there and ended up modifying a corset.

Don't give up on your art Star, just because you didn't get in this time doesn't mean you can't try elsewhere.

Thanks HIM
I'll give it a go
Sewing's part of my reasoning behind Getting a Ball Jointed Doll, they're small enough to use less Fabric, but some of them are bigger than a barbie so you can add mroe detail to their clothing. So I figured there'd be a good place to start (and the fact they're lovely doesn't hurt either )

I had Flash at one point, but I've since lost it...
There's so much stuff I want to do, but Otherwise, I can't.

I think, I'd like to be a graphic Novelist ('cos that'd combine my creative writing and my art), or something along those lines. Maybe I should start an online web comic or something...

Get some Primarni t-shirts and practice sewing bits on to that so then it comes easier when doing smaller things. That way you get some practice in and some unique t-shirts to wear.

Why not try doing a webcomic, put them on something like LiveJournal so then you can get feedback and do some one off webcomics.

~nods~
I'll try Grabbing a few cheap-o Primark Tops next time I'm on Oxford.
I've already Hi-jacked my mum's Sewing Machine, though I've not used it yet.

I'd like to start a webcomic, though I'd like a tablet that works
~holds up the 7-year-old piece of junk that's supposed to be a drawing Tablet~
That way I can Draw right onto the computer rather than drawing it out, taking a photo of it/Scanning it, computerizing it etc.etc.
Gets Tedious

You not getting on that course might be a possative for you seeing as you get pretty limited on what you can do on art courses and textile courses.

If you have a list of things you like making on your CV then it shows that you're creative. Qualifications say you can do something but they don't specify which part you can do.

Fair point...
Though I don't have a CV at the moment, and I have no idea how to construct one, I'm gonna have to lern soon if I want to get a job and get money to buy a Doll to sew for

I got given a practice CV from when I went to Connections, I'm pretty sure you can find a template online.

At the moment it seems to be best to go in with basic qualifications because otherwise you get told you're over qualified.

Alot of people seem to be setting up their own internet shops selling things made out of Fimo.

My favorite thing I've seen so far has to be this:

I'd love to set up my own shop and make unique things like that.
I love thinking up designs and patterns and things so.

What's Fimo?
Maybe I'll look into it

It does seem to cost alot when you're making things but if you can sell them then it doesn't seem to cost as much.

Jeanie doesn't know what to do in her interview tomorrow. My brother tried to "help" but he just kept making buzzer sounds and saying I fail.

I wasn't that bad till my brother "helped" then threw paper at me. ¬_¬ I took his hat and when the cat sneezed I held it to her so she snotted up the inside.

My brother's girlfriend is meant to be sending me some interview information. So far she hasn't yet though.

What's Jeanie's weakness that could be changed to a good thing.
