Well, that's not guaranteed now, is it?! For goodness sake, I didn't even know who this Nathan person until just now, and he's claiming that he'll kill Jack. How that that's possible I can't fathom. If Jack's not in his body, how can he be killed? But this person says he'll do it so I imagine he must know how.

Well, based on what I know about Jack, which is not much, I doubt he left willingly. The solution, I think, would be to persuade Nathan to play nice and give him back.
