I've been on mene for ages, I was here through just about everything

There might be more limited St Patrick's Day items too.

I remember the April Fools items still being eggs. That was fun.

So during the events, do you get lots of gold or something?

The items in the event store are half price during the event before they go into the other shops at full price. So it's sort of like having double the gold. XD

It's even easier to talk to people during events too so you get lots of gold from chatting.
