I think you only have to have them out because where they come in you can't brush them so they rot or something. But if you've got a gap usually the teeth just move down so the wisdom tooth replaces the one you've lost. I'm not sure though. I've found conflicting things. Some say you absolutely have to have them out and some say only if they cause problems so I honestly don't know.

My mom didn't have them out initially, but yeah, the tooth ended up rotting and had to be pulled later.
Mine hurt every day.
Under no provocation.
And cause horrible headaches.

They're too far back to get the brush in. :XD

Do yours have a big enough gap to come in?

I got distracted with Sims again T____T
I remember I had two of my bottom wisdom teeth growing in sideways, and one of those was flipped, and then the top one that came in was 70% gone due to a cavity and the other one was normal. But MAN do I sympathize with those babies at work now! I kept chewing my cheek going "I need... I need... D: I need teething ring!"

Mine don't really hurt. Maybe 2 days every 3-6 months. They must be comin in dead slow.

I can't chew on the left side of my mouth...Which is quite tiresome while eating. Also hard things, like panini's, bagels, chips and things like that are also a pain to eat...

If the pain is that bad I keep thinking I might not have them. But I don't want to tempt fate since I'll end up getting them when I'm older. -_-

I know what you mean Casiana I feel so sorry for them when their parents come in saying they're teething and at random points in the day they just start crying.

Don't have one.
But normally they come at extremely inconvenient times where even if I did, I wouldn't be able to use it.

It didn't hurt as much as I thought it was going to and for the moment it's staying as an outline for the moment I like it how it is.

I got all four of mine out at the same time. I was a freakin chipmunk and a huge yellow bruise showed up on my left side neck a few days afterwards. And then I got an infection on the left side. They didn't give me a curvy syringe to clean it with ):< I had to go to my regular dentist for that.
But man, I'm so happy I got them out, because the pressure the teeth made gave me massive ear pains. I know I went to the doctor thinking I had ear infections at least twice. And to be able to eat normally! Oh man, I love it! I remember not being able to open my mouth wide for a week and a half after the surgery, though, that wasn't fun xD
