Yeah, I prefer with the needle then the gun personally. I had a second piercing done in each ear, but it got infected so I had to let it heal. A well... I tried, and realized I'm good with just one piercing.

I don't have pierced ears, but I want to. I don't even want to pierce the cartilage, just a normal piercing.
My older sister has one in her left eyebrow, one in her lip, and I think three in each ear? I think Mom's worried I'll turn out like her if I get ANY piercings. Which is ridiculous. Also, she wants me to get it done by an acupuncturist, which costs more money and is more hassle. I personally think it's just to be an obstacle.
As soon as I get a job I'm just going to hop a bus and get it done.

It's personal preference. And, I could be hole free if I wanted to be. That's what's fun about piercings, they aren't permanent like tattoos.
