Pubs just make me uncomfortable
I don't drink for starters, being around people who are drinking unsettles me, especially when they're getting tipsy and drunk
I've not been to many before

the only place I felt happy when people were drinking was the convention i went to

Star, you're not alone with feeling uncomfortable around drunk people. I don't drink either. And I seem to get a lot of really weird looks at my school... especially from my last roommate (who basically told me that I should get drunk at least once so I know what it's like... uhhh, no thanks.). But she was a witch (but replace the w with a b and that's what she was) so I don't care what she thinks. :P

That sounds like an interesting career choice, Nemo. I haven't gotten to that point in any language I've studied. Major irritation occurs if I'm not speaking English. Not mine. Other peoples. No one likes it and that's a shame~

I haven't tried ASL yet. I borrowed a book from the library about it, but I was busy and forgot. A grand shame, that. Though I guess I can always borrowed the book again.

Oh, ASL isn't a language that you can learn from books. It's one of those languages that you actually need to be in person to learn best. Or at least that is what I've learned.
