Well with the ammount of new people comming here as well would make it harder to try and organize the newbies and orgainize an event.

It's also feed the newbies hunger for free-stuff
which will in turn cause them to spam the heck outta this lovely little community

Which is why people don't like the Facebook ad I had a look on the site feedback and quite a few people are annoyed with the ad.
