But something tells me I'm just too damn lazy to do anything remotely physical. xD
I love theater... Going to see the Wizard of Oz last night showed just how different it is to see a production versus being in it - whether professional or unprofessional. I feel like I always appreciated the other crappy shows we put on a LOT more because I was in it. :| When it's crappy and an audience sees it for the first time, it's just... such a disappointment. :/

Facade: I think we might have different definitions of "pit." The pit I'm referring to is the orchestra one, in front of the stage. It wasn't any more physical than other orchestra activities, really.

Helios: Really? You've heard of one but not the other? XD Heh. Go figure. My maternal grandma had pet Cardigans. They're sweet dogs, and I think they're supposed to be less nippy than the Pembrokes.

@Twisted: Why else do you think they're called WEAVES and not HAIR!? :|

Woops! I misread that. :gonk: I'm so tired! I had a four hour nap today, and I'm about ready to go back to sleep. :lol:
I was thinking of Crew, not Pit.
In fact, our Pit last night was FANTASTIC.
They were pretty much the high point of the show, in my opinion. There was a lot of bad acting, mediocre singing... Decent scenery and whatnot, but overall the Pit stole the show. Again, MY opinion... It's not like the instrumental portions of the songs from the Wizard of Oz are exactly, uh... Fantastic to begin with. :rofl:

Facade: :lol: S'okay. Yeah, the crew work is a lot more physical. :) I was a set mover for a few shows in high school, and that was interesting. They were competition plays, so we had to be fast and efficient. Fun group, though. And honestly, being part of the backstage crew... We tended to think of the actors as divas (and some of them were), so we had this reverse snobbery thing going on. XD
