I love painting white things because nothing truly is white. (thanks Winterhalter for making us stare at the snow in painting class and telling him all the colors we saw)

I love gray eyes! My favorite author uses gray eyes to show wisdom in his characters... The only time he describes the eye color is to pause and mention if they are gray.

that's awesom woody. we have no snow to stare at but its true that nothing is WHITE unless you're going for an emotion or something....I usually grey things.

Tolkien. I noticed the only time he ever mentioned eye color (he was really bad at describing characters in general, vs scenery) was when someone was particularly beyond their years (like Faramir, even Gollum for one moment when Frodo was watching). I spent too much time paying attention to those details while taking a class.

Yah Kat, our Professor was a bit of a nut, be he did know how to have some interesting classes. I got to sit outside for hours painting and observing for a Nature Journaling class, which was half art, half environmental science. I loved it. IF you have no snow, look at the clouds and see how many colors there are, soft yellows, pinks, blues. It's a pretty fun thing to do, and then you paint the clouds so much better after.
