Considering my period is irregular but got even WORSE from birth control pills - no idea how that's even possible, though it happened - I quit them very, very soon.
They did nothing for my headaches either.
Let me reword it. They did my headaches a lot of good. They simply flourished when I took the pill. They didn't do ME any good, obviously.

No dying, Kitteh. It is not allowed! You may, however, take nap and feel better. Ciao for now!

The combination of a genetic tendency, trauma, depression, stress, extreme lack of sleep, disturbed sleep pattern, disturbed food pattern, intake of too much caffeine and sugar to keep me awake and several minor allergies, Wings.

That's... a lot of causes. A toxic stew in which headaches would thrive.

At least my sleep pattern is a bit better now. I have an average of a whole fricking four-and-a-half hour of sleep per day (24 hours).
If I compare that to a particularly horrendous summer a couple of years ago, that is an increase of 300-400%. (Yes, at that time I had an average of about 8-10 hours of sleep per week) If I compare it to more normal bad times, an increase of about 200-250%.

I know.
However, if I compare it to surviving two, almost three months on ten hours per week tops - it ended with that 68-hours-straight crash I told you guys about before - then 4-5 hours per night is really not so bad.

Define function, please?
Yeah, I more-or-less function now (although I slept more than usual due to illness for once, can't say I mind being able to sleep for a change), but during that summer? Only if you define functioning as walking, breathing, having your heart beat and not being unconscious, I fear.
I was a walking corpse that summer, really.

Depends.
Too little sleep, too little food, too much sugar, caffeine and stress cause panic and/or anxiety attacks at times. Not so much since I started smoking again, though (yes, I know it's bad for me, but I rather smoke and die from lungcancer when I'm forty than fall back into my depressions and end my life tomorrow).

Food... Sounds good right about now, actually. A spinach pie for lunch, and that was at 11:30, and... No wonder I'm hungry. oO

Spinach pie: Phyllo dough, cooked chopped spinach, ricotta and/or feta cheese, and... well, that's really most of it. The kind I get comes in its own little pocket of phyllo, and I can eat it while I walk.
