@Cica: I switch between calling it pop and soda pretty 50/50 these days too. I'm not terribly familiar with the UP dialect though since I've only been there a couple times (not counting my aunt's place. She's barely across the bridge). My friends down here all call me a Uper though. It's a freaking 2-3 hour drive to the UP from where I grew up!

I've lived in Southeast Michigan for my whole life... minus you know, my time I moved out for awhile and lived in various places. Three months in California, a month and a half in Boston, a month in Germany, couple weeks here and there in other places. XD
