Yeh, the Michigan economy: Depressed and depressing. It shouldn't be that way! We're rich in natural resources, fresh water... There's so much to this state. It's sad that we were so dependent on the auto industry for so long...

I have a job, but I am looking for something better, and I applied to this nice position as the Children's Librarian at a near by place, but they gave the job to some old hag who has been in the library system for 80 years... Ug, I would have brought a breath of fresh air and glitter to that position..... *sigh* there goes $18 an hour.......

I technically have a job, but it kinda sucks. It's minimum wage and, for example, last week, I worked four hours. This week's better. I get to work 9 hours. Really can't pay rent with that. Thank goodness I have awesome roommates who don't really care if I can't pay much of the rent.

I admit that I mess with telemarketers sometimes...

Yeah, people hang up. People yell at me. I get cussed out. And worse, I'm not even selling, I'm calling for charities. And they will fire me if I don't start getting more donations, but... you know, pretty much impossible.

@Vicky: That's great though! Nurses are in really high demand. I thought about going into it, but the wait list to get into a program is three years long. Not too helpful to me. And I really want to work in a library anyway.

I did a telemarketer type thing while in school, alumni calling.... yah, alums really wanted to put more money into the school while still paying their loans...... though, I did manage to get a lot of ppl to donate :P
