When I went to France in high school, I had a seafood meal once, and it included two kinds of snails, and a whole lobster. It was a small lobster, but still, you had to, um, deal with the head and stuff. (It was delicious, though. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the snails.)

It's true Tav, the Rock Lobster is bigger, but then, since it is bigger, they don't have as much tender tender goodness as the Maine....
That is the one thing I haven't tried, snails..... I do like frogs legs, but I feel bad that they taste so good, you know?

The escargot that I almost had was drowned in garlic, too much, nad I chewed it and it was rubbery.. but that was before I ate jelly fish and angler fish and all sorts of crazy things...

Never tried snails. I would though.
I don't mind looking it in the eye if its already dead. Its putting it in the pot that I can't do.

Oh, these weren't garlicky at all, Zephi. They were just... snails. I think they were cooked. But maybe not. There were these little black ones that pretty much tasted like... lake. Or ocean, or wherever they got them from. The huge green ones I never could get down, though.

Ugh. My mom likes escargot, but I don't even want to try it. (I'm a very fussy eater.) I like squid though. Unfortunately, around here, it seems the only squid restaurants serve is calamari, which is all breaded and spicy. =/

I'll try not to Kat.
I wouldn't eat frog. I've heard it's really good, but I love them too much to eat them.:(

I don't think I could put a live lobster in the pot either. People do that with frogs and crabs too... boiled to dead X_X
Raw snails.. hmm... I found them on the beach in italy and they scared me. I'd screamand throw the shell when they sstarted to come out...

Cica, yes!! like really sweet tender chicken.
I love frogs too, and I felt bad at first, but I always try something, just so I can say whether I like it or not.
I am sad I didn't get to go to the only restaurant in Colorado I saw that had Rocky Mountain Oysters, cause I wanted to try them :(
