Wow, nine inches of snow? :gonk:
There was rain here a few nights back... I guess we're too lame to get snow. :(
And ugh, school is fail. I'm so glad I get to finally graduate! College will be better, and even if it's only slightly better, I'll make my own fun. Thus it'll be BETTERER. D:<
I can't wait to get the hell out of this small town and meet people from all walks of life. I love that about the world - there's so many different kinds of people! Sure, I want to smother certain types of people to death with pillows, but still! There's so many people out there to be discovered~
I don't know. That's always what I've been looking forward to the most about college/life outside high school in general. Better people.
Of course, I know there'll still be assholes I'll have to deal with. But at least by then I'll have people on my side that I can genuinely call my friends. The people I normally talk with at school are just... lame. Boring. Lacking opinions. I'm just a meanie-head like that, and like it when there's fun, interesting, supportive people around me... who also have personalities, as well as acknowledged flaws.
I just want out of here. :gonk:

Facade has issues :stare:
But I know what you mean really. That's kinda why I bailed on college and went to Italy. haha! Take that society :P
And then I joined the Army cuz when I moved back home things were still boring. And the same.
So the Army sends me to Korea :D
And now to afghanistan :sarcasm:

Ooh, wow. D:
Was Korea nice, though!? The area I'm in is highly-populated with Koreans. They're nice people! A bit pretentious, but who isn't these days? :P
Teehee, I know I have issues. xD; I rant about stuff like this in my English class, and my English teacher always tells me that I sound mad. xD; I tell him that I'm just bitter. >w> Like an old lady! :illgetu:
It's probably because I spend a lot of my time with my mom and aunts, who're all independent, hard-working women that have had their fair share of disappointment in this world. But not in a totally-depressing kind of way, since they're still fighting hard, and are all far too optimistic to bother looking back.
I'm just the bitter teen they all helped create. xD; Lolol, I don't know why I get along with them so well. I'd rather hang around them than people my own age. >_> Which is why I need to go to college! :gonk: I'm hoping people there will be more on my level.
Of course, I also want to see the world... College is only a short-term fix for my lack of interest in the world. :squee: Then I'm gonna travel the world for an indefinite amount of time. And when I get bored of that, I guess I'll settle somewhere. <w< LOL.
I'm just chock full of cynicism and teenage angst, aren't I? =3

I suppose you are Facade. But you're lucky too. Having a different view on things is more interesting then just going with the crowd.
Korea is really nice. And the people are super nice too. Well, either that or they hate americans, but I guess that's just kinda how most of the world is. Hate/Love... whatever. Reminds me a of a tat I wanted to get.. hmm.. Still kinda want it. I got an "adoptive" korean family and I used to share my culture with them and they shared theirs.
I really cant wait to get out of the Army though. I want to do random and crazy stuff when I get back. I've spoken about the things a few times so I'm not gonna go into it right now. But what I'd really like to do is have a coffee shop/bar. Coffee in the am and alcohol in the pm. I think it would be fun, I just need lots of interesting people to come in and buy stuff and hang out. I'd actually like to have customers like you, facade, as long as they don't start bringing their pet elephants in the store and feeding them coca-cola through a huge elephant sized straw. No pets dar it! :illgetu:
But other than that, I want to go to Ireland and Australia.
DID YOU KNOW.... there are castles in Afghanistan and some people are going to be in the castle using it like a FOB? It has realy towers and everything ^^ I so want to go. Iraq has palaces and Afghanistan has castles :D

Okay, I Wiki'd FOB, since I didn't want to look dumb. Lol!
I've only heard the term one other time, and it's actually what this Korean girl at my school says. She calls herself a FOB, aka 'Fresh off the Boat,' since she was born in Korea.
Anyway, Wiki says it stands for stuff like "Free On Board" and "Freight On Board." So does that mean they're using those castles as like, shipping ports or something? :gonk: I'm confuuused!
Anyway, I'd be delighted to come to your coffee shop/bar! :squee: That sounds like a friggin' awesome business idea, I kid you not!
After I'm bored with seeing the world, I want to open my own business too. =3 I'm not sure what kind of business, but I'd love to have my own shop in the world. It'd be amazing fun, just to have a piece of the world to share with random people. :'D
But yeah, I'd leave my pet elephant at home! Besides, it'd steal my booze. >w> NOT a nice thing after being all there drinking coffee, waiting until Happy Hour came.
At least you have these awesome ideas to look forward to after you're out of the army. :D It's great that you're already planning out what you're gonna do. I wouldn't know what to do after serving all that time. xD;
You're an awesome person, Zephi. I really mean that. And hilarious, too! :P
...It'd be fun to bungee-jump while you drank your coffee and booze! 8D I guess that's not exactly business-friendly, though... And you'd probably end up puking all over the place. :gonk:

LMAO... bungee jumping! yeah! We can do that out back *points with thumb* Plenty of room. I actually want to have a house that's on a hill to love on with the back part hanging off the hill so that the deck is in the trees, and then have a zip line to the ground, or something really comfy to land on :P
FOB in military terms means "Forward Operating Base" Means that they are kinda out there away from the large part of people just to set up a post where they could move out into enemy territoy easier and faster. I'll be at a differnt FOB, they have said that they need a female out at the castle *eyes sparkle* I think I might like that
I haven't really been in the Army that long. Just 3.5 years so far. I have 1.5 years of active duty left and then 3 years in the reserve. Time passes pretty quickly when you don't think about it though *thinks about it* Darn it! I didn't want to think about it!!!
I actually had this idea in basic where I'd have a bar, next to a restaurant, next to a tattoo parlor... next to a strip club. lol. But I don't think I'd do that anymore, but it would work out really well.. those kinda places are always in business :stare:

I hate New England Clam Chowder, but I absolutely love Manhattan Clam Chowder. =3
Seafood can be good, as long as it doesn't smell awfully fishy or isn't prepared disgustingly.
Sometimes I don't like salmon, and most of the time I won't eat flounder. But I love shrimp, love sushi, love clams, mussels... Of course, like I said... depends on how it's prepared/how fresh it is, etc.
