I love the walking. I never take a cab there, and this past trip for me was the first ever time I took a subway
you have to wear the right shoes Kat, lol, or else
:3 it was worth a try! I knew you'd be all tuckered out, but I miss you oodles!
We haven't really been anywhere since my dad had to leave the Army. When he was we moved all over the place. We were even in Germany for about three years.
I've only been to NYC twice, but it's an amazing place. :)
And the subway is more fun than you'd think! Although it IS still scary as hell... :gonk:
My aunt and uncle had to go up to NYC practically every other weekend for four years straight, since she (my aunt) had to have in vitro in order to have her kids; and the only amazing doctor was in NYC.
Agreed Facade. I felt like my subway cherry was popped thoroughly since there were buskers down there doing their thing, and I blew bubbles on the subway and made ppl laugh. It was great.
The Metro in Paris is kind of awesome. Have to watch out for the vendors, though. I somehow managed to buy a mango from one there. Odd place to purchase fruit. (It tasted good, though, and I didn't die, so...)
yes we are too close to sea level. I come form houston which is flat as flat can be. and there is no such thing as underground. you hit clay. and water. way too close to sea level
