yeah... hopefully you'll find a name someday. I just hope that I can find a guy who accepts my beliefs. I mean my friends do. But i don't really want to raise my children religious. I wasn't raised religious, but I was raised w/ the knowledge of religion. So hopefully i'll find a guy who can get that.
hey woody! why were you making soap?

For fun. I would love to sell some cold process soap eventually. I have made soap before from a base... but this is legit from scratch.
Why did I fail? The scales weren't electronic, and so the measurements weren't accurate at ALL. I used way too much of the oil I think and not enough lye... We shall see if it sets tomorrow....
Wings: That is a good way of doing things. I was raised in the same manner. I love it. I get to look at all religions without a bias opinion.
Since I didn't think my soap was going to work, I made it with tangerine essential oils, saving my expensive lavender oil and flowers for another day.

That's cool woody.
and that's what I think too. It gives you the freedom to choose what you want. I just to stay non-religious. My sister is now seventh day adventist and used to be methodist. We are allowed to do whatever we want and believe what we want, not what we are told

the only religion i ever participated in a little was jehovah witness but i realized early on that wasn't the path for me... but the rest of my family, on either side, never practiced or talked about religion so i don't really have anything... which always made me kind of sad

I don't know Linn, not if it doesn't set up. It has to harden, and then I cut it, and let it cure for up to 6 weeks while the lye balances out and is no longer caustic.... Like I said, fingers crossed. I drove all over the place looking for the ingredients today.
Yes, that is what is nice about it too. You can learn about other religions and you don't judge them, just appreciate aspects without having to prescribe to any exact dogma.
Really Linn? I didn't know that.
btw who now has a million menes? I must buy some CIs

I've always been exposed to religion though not entirely through my parents, mostly through my relatives. My best friend and cousin is Catholic. Some of the rest of my family are Baptist. I had a Jewish best friend at some point and I've learned a lot about various religins, and I just know none of them are for me. The only bad thing is I've never read the bible, which I really should as an english major. I plan to take an Intro to World Relgions this summer too, I love learning about religions.
Exactly woody

Go for it Wings, I loved my religions class. I had my fill of hearing about the various Christian sects just because I am a history major and that ties in really tight in Western History.......
It was great to delve further into Eastern Religions, etc.
I didn't know that you dabbled in J W...... I think maybe you mentioned it, but it must have been in passing.
I did, I got 2000 so I can have extra CI's for the shop

Yah, with Tracy Forest?
I really loved the different facets to Buddhism.... That stuck with me. And also there are some very interesting/beautiful moments in the Koran

it was when i was really young, woody... my 2 aunts and cousins and my nana all were in it and guess i wanted to fit in, which is a wrong reason to join a religion... but i was very young... like 12
and i was wondering when you were going to buy some goodies to sell! there is a person who has the CI you are looking for and will do a trade for it... look at the back posts

Well, I mean, I've been to a temple (my dad's Jewish... not practicing, but still) and I went to a church when I was really little, but then my parents left it up to me really. They are happy to be as they are. We still do Jewish and Christian holidays (along with some old school pagan-y ones I love to do! I love to celebrate the harvest and spring!!!)
I bet they will branch out Wings.

you have to hit the button up by the F# keys... it says PrtSc on top and SysRq below it... that takes a screen shot... then just paste it in paint
