well, I really do rely on the messages it give me on my account for action in my threads and it sometimes disappears if I obsessively refresh the page.
There's this totally adorable gay couple in The Tudors, but they're only in the first season, and in the next episode or two the one guy dies of the "sweating sickness"! :gonk:
Wow, Facade. XD I'm actually not sure how to take this. It's so campy and full of every gay stereotype they could think of, that I can't decide whether they're tongue-in-cheek making fun of homophobes or totally sincere. Or both? I guess it doesn't really matter, since it's positive either way.
It's sincere.
Jonny McGovern is a pretty hilarious d00d.
I found out about him through the Big Gay Sketch Show, which is produced by Rosie O'Donnell and airs on the LOGO channel.
There's actually another song of his that probably would've been a bit more... pop-ish, I suppose. Which would've seemed a lot less stereotypical, yet still campy.
Okay, just checking, Facade. It's pretty funny, in any case!
Okay, Sophie B. Hawkins (self-described "omnisexual" and GLBTQ-friendly musician, so we have a theme going here now) first taught me that not all pop music is bland manufactured meh. I still owe her a thank-you letter about that, I think. XD But, anyway, I still think of "As I Lay Me Down" as a watershed song in terms of my listening habits. This is not that song. It's from the same album, though!
Ooh, I'm loving this, Cica!
Sounds like something you'd listen to at a roller rink... Which is what real pop is! :illgetu:
:P I think I'll be posting some Kylie Minogue later... :ninja:
Shini, the live update has been having issues for a lot of people. It doesn't work for me. (I'm using Safari.) Um, just refresh a lot 'til they get it fixed. :)
Glad you like, Facade! ^_^ Not all her stuff is like that. In fact, Whaler is probably her one really commercial album. She is pretty awesome, though.
