So, what's new, Kat? :)

There are a lot of dumbasses in my grade, so the BBQ will surely be fun... Just with a hint of assholes here and there trying to make themselves look cool. :roll:

And cast parties are FUN! I love them so so much. We had one last Friday for our One Act Festival, and it was probably one of the best I've been to. We were in someone's backyard with only candles for lighting, and there was a fire pit, s'mores, pizza... Everything seems better in the dark! :P
We could also see the stars, which is always pleasant. :) I can usually see a handful of stars from my own house, but I don't go outside and just sit there. I'm lame. :drool:

Anyway, yeah. Cast parties are fantastic.

There's a semi-noticeable rift between our actors and the stage crew, although it's a lot less noticeable nowadays! Typically a good chunk of the stage crew members choose to act for the One Acts, since they're all about fun and being amateur. So we have that working for us this time of year. :D
Crew has also gotten massive this year - lots of underclassmen, and the likable kind, at that. So it's easy to intermingle with them and actors. :)

(I usually prefer the company of the Crew over the actors anyway. Something about closeted guys singing show tunes is off-putting to me, mainly because I just want to shake them furiously and tell them to come out already. :roll: I'm so cruel.)

well, I went to a charity that someone was giving away their items for nothing and I asked for the order armor and got it plus lots of other beautiful items. I even got winter's flight!! :squee:

Those do sound like fun cast parties, Facade. And to see the stars... Well, I can, on clear nights, but those are rare enough... :)

well, I will say I love parties with bonfires, but I never know anyone at parties or I don't really like them so I don't fit in.

(Which is one of the many reasons why I'm so obsessed with The Tudors... Henry VIII was SUCH an asshole! But Jonathan Rhys Meyers makes him hot... :drool: ... Plus, even being the philadering asshat he was, he did some pretty nifty things, like denouncing the Catholic church because they wouldn't annul his marriage. Pretty brave, if I do say so myself. :roll: )

Um, a Halloween '09 set, a Winter Nights '08 set, and a couple of other things. It was unexpected. :) And a bit awkward, since I had intended to buy something, and reverse haggling ensued. :sweat:

I thought so. :) In spite of the awkward. And... Well, it's useful. (Oh, yes, and the extra Winter set... Which I will pass on to somebody at some point. That's stashed away in a special drawer, so out of mind and all that...)

I'm really glad I got items I really wanted and didn't have.

I'm exceptionally prone to feeling like a scavenger. :sweat: Still, she would be a fun cosplay, and, well, you can see where the headgear would come in handy.
