I do remember the special elementary school instructional period (sorry!) where the girls learned about menstruation, though. Forms were signed, parents were present, pads were demonstrated...

hmm, at my school, girls watched the girls video and boys watched the boys video. that was it. we didn't watch each other's. guys got a deodorant stick, and girls got a pad and deodorant as well.

I actually don't remember much about guy sexual parts until high school. seventh grade sex ed was all about girls I swear. Though I missed an entire week of that b/c i was sick.

7th grade was both for me.

See, the crazy thing is that my mum knows nothing about me. She doesn't think I've done anything until... college, mostly. She knew I drank in college, so, about a year ago, when I was 18, but figures that was the first time. Even though I think I was 12, or 14.

I had a health class in high-school, but there was nothing about sex. We never had a sex-ed class.

I grew up quick, I remember being the only girl who LOOKED like a girl in like, 5th grade. It was bad, I think me maturing quickly is the root of everything. Considering I hung out with older guys, etc etc.

We're learning about the reproductive systems in school at the moment (I'm taking 11th grade Health since it didn't fit on my schedule last year. :lol: ). Having a mom as a nurse, I know a CRAPLOAD more than other kids. Which I wasn't aware of until I took this class. :roll:

The kids don't even know what a urethra is! :squee: It's hilarious.
And I'd have to say that the boys are as uneducated on the reproductive system as girls are. Which is sad, because typically girls know a bit more... :no:

I think I had like a hyper-educational health class in high school. I remember pictures of parts. both circumcised and not. Probably what I get for taking it in summer school. OH! and then there was this girl in my dorm this year that took sexual physcology and just LOVED to talk about it... I learned and saw way more than I wanted to.

i think this is the singular most awkward conversation i've participated in on mene.

she brought it up ever chance she got. and even the next semester if someone made something that sounded like a sexual innuendo she pointed it out. I swear living in that dorm made me starting calling 'that's what she said' jokes.

i remember we had to take a sex/health class, but it was kind of done in like a seminar form and my boyfriend at the time was in my class... talk about awkward haha... he was my first boyfriend so it was just... weird lol

I learned about ways various animals had sex in my environmental science class. -nods- It wasn't a lesson... I don't think there were any lessons in that class. But did ya'll know that rhinos last for four hours. And don't let me get you started on bald eagles. XD
