Heh. Yeah. It is. XD One step at a time, I guess. Ticket first. Then an Amtrak ticket and learning the route to the station (and back.) Then hotel and travel (by bus, probably) in Philly... I can get to the venue from the train station in Philadelphia by bus. I checked. That's not so bad, really. :)

I can totally do this. I have had dreams about doing this...

wow that is a lot to do to get to where you want to... but it definitely is worth it
you shouldn't let the fact that you'd be by yourself sway you from doing what you want

Oh, I know. The same would be true if I were to go to the Detroit concert, though. It's closer, but I'd still opt for taking the train, rather than driving it. So... Might as well go to Philadelphia. I'm more interested in the lineup there anyway. (Missy Higgins!)

So. Step one is this week. Next week is step 2. Drive to the Amtrak station, do some research, come home again. :)
