I didn't, I was kinda pinned down in the wide open field. Nearest cover was 50 feet in each direction. Man it was so awesom :boogie: I was low crawling and the bullets were hitting all around me, then I did a combat roll into the ditch where everyone else was. I was in the worst spot in the formation when we took fire :sweat: Oh well, no one saw it coming. And... combat rolling is pretty tough with a huge aid bag on... :sweat: but it was awesome. I helped them fire back. My weapon wouldn't have reached the enemy, they were really far away.

Well of course not, but there are some places that I'd prefer to get hit over others. Like I NEVER want to get shot in the knee or the foot. Ever. I mean the shoulder or the arm would be fine, even the stomach or chest (long as it's not the heart) but not the knee. We shot a taliban guy in the knee and they saved his leg with surgery but he couldn't move it afterwards, so he said to just cut it off. That really changes your life forever. And the jerk, after we saved his life he wrote how "It's good to kill Americans" <.< Sometimes I wonder why we save them

talk about grateful... sheesh... but you have more compassion then the idiots out there just shooting people around... your job seems significantly harder

Honestly, I think you don't let them die because you're better than that, Zephi. At least, that's what I like to think. :) I can understand why there would be resentment though. Some people are just... well, insane.

It's a bit harder to keep someone alive that is dying than to kill someone who is living. But, I like a challenge. Oh, I need to make a photo album on FB of "The kids of Afghanistan." Some of them are really nice. Like Zafar Khan, the one who was being helped out by the Army, they fixed his broken arm, well, re-broke it and casted it in a better position, one where he could really use it. But he's a sweet kid., Reminds me of my son and the same age too.

Me either. I was tired when I woke up yesterday, so I feel ya Kat. Tired all day, then I got about 4 hours sleep last night and woke up at 0230 this morning so that I could work out at 0300 O_O Earlly... way too early...

Oh, there's no question about helping the kids out, or the women, it's really tough here on them. I saw one lady who had 9 kids.. 9! She looked really old O_O Child bearing is not easy on the body. Wings: I really need to find a way to use the belt I got from him. I know what I'll do with the headgear, but the belt... That needs an outfit built around it.

Should be. Hopefully. The kid Zafar, he want to be a doctor or an interpreter when he grows up. And every time I go out I take a huge bag of candy and pens and pencils and crayons and other stuff for the kids. They really don't have much here.

I saw Clash of the Titans last night ^^ It was pretty good. Not so in depth as the original, but decent. I think the graphics made up for it.
